PreOne Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 This a piece i did in 1988 in the Bronx my second trip up there , in my tender teens ... this piece was ripe with old borden krylons baby blue, pastel aqua, hot pink, true blue, hot pink etc.. I did this while directly in back of me stood some of the kings of graffiti Sento, Cav, Neon etc ..so the pressure was def on this piece shows the early stages of my "style" the bent in half letters I got from Stash2 and Braze 2 of my definate influences ... I tried to revamp this and revisit it and it felt good .. the 2010 version I tried to keep the colors as close as i could ... I used American Accents Aqua into an old can of Spa Blue Painters Touch [Thanks East] of course i had no True Blue so i used Midnight Ironlak, alot darker but i thought it looked ok....I kept alot of the elements of the 88 version . The long sweep off the left of the R , The lower case E with the same swing .. And an ATT 4 finger ring!?!?!?!? you dont want to get smacked with that .. while i was painting it , i decided to add an 80's style scroll and dedicate to some friends who died , that were a part of the 80s for me .. Dane, Diester & Borax RIP ... This was done for an old school battle with Kuaze ATT ....
