the people that didn't watch this world series missed out. as a fan of BASEBALL, (duh, i'm a giants fan), but as a fan of baseball i've watched EVERY world series since i can remember. i remember the Reds sweeping the A's as a 6 year old kid. i remember the expansion Marlins beating the Indians in 7 games i remember the Yankees crushing everyone like an unstoppable force in the late 90's. i remember Luis Gonzalez ending the Yankees dynasty against the most unhittable closer of all time in game 7. i remember the red sox winning for the 1st time in 86 years. i remember the Phillies winning for the first time in forever. it's really too bad mainstream america missed out. fans of the game can appreciate when something special happens.

reds played terrible in september. they fizzled out and limped into the playoffs. Giants have been on fire all september and it's carried them here. and maybe you guys have the big names in pitching, but our pitching staff > your pitching staff. Giants starters allowed 3 earned runs in 4 playoff games. Bullpen other than Sergio Romo is lights out. BEST PITCHING STAFF IN MLB, look it up. the stats dont lie. not to mention the giants beat Halladay, Oswalt and Hamels earlier in the season. now i'm not saying we're gonna win (i'm a giants fan, i KNOW better) BUT this is gonna be a closer series than you think.
