Looks dope. I see you must have changed it a bit since the others got a chance to comment on it. My only suggestions are: Normally when I'm looking through sites the first thing i notice as the unity (or lack thereof) between the pages. You got a good unity goin on here, except for one minor thing... that kinds sticks out like a sore thumb - the placement of the content on the new page versus all the other pages. If you wanted to fix this, you should easily be able to shift the news content over closer to the navigation, where all the other page contents are... but I actually kinda dig the novelty of that space between the nave and the news content, so i'd personally probably go the other way around and move the content of all the other pages to match the placement of the news page. Otherwise, I'd probably change the "visited link" color to something other than default, if not just the same color as the main link color. that's minor stuff though. But yeah, sick site & lovin those owl drawings. Bookmarking

keep the peace guys. keep the peace. anyway, as far as tips go, i'd say try to work on framing as well. While you practice drawing people by looking at either photos or actual human beings who happen to be around (sometiems a difficult task unless you're quick and/or they're staying stil for a while, but still good to try) try to focus on framing. while you're observing, you should try roughly mapping out the general shape and size of the structure and then move on to outlining the general shapes of the figure but more refined. then start filling in details and get more and more specific as you go. as a beginner though, you should mostly focus on mapping out the shape before you go on. id advise never to start with details.

are those the large metal boxes that you're supposed to dump clothes and jackets into? I think i heard a baby cralling around in there once.

older version. it's been edited since this pic was taken. how do you do those smooth opaque bold black lines on canvas? i've been making stencils, but i'd rather do it by hand.
