  1. I just took some pictures after work and will post tonight. I think the results are satisfactory, but I'm open to criticism and advice The 2001 Yamaha R1, Tamiya, right? I think we talked about this before. Was it on one of the pages that got lost during the meltidge?
  2. I've seen those at the store but never tried using them. Can you regulate the pressure and width of spray? I might have to look into acquiring some of these. Got any pictures to post of your models?
  3. right here is appropriate for any scale models. There is also a thread in metal heads.
  4. now back to the Caddy - There is a seam line that was visible along the top of the front seat. I researched on the web for Cadillac front seats and this seam was never there, so I decided to sand it off, then primer. the base coat is Rustoleum brown I want a leather look to the interior. This will be my first attempt at leather in any scale
  5. Right on, thanks for the kind words. This Caddy build started in Dec. 08 and is almost finished.
  6. yup, the RevMon issue kit. I know it well. Since it has chrome (not gold) spoke wheel option, I'd go Low low with the gloss black body. It will look like it would jam the Germs or The Plugz rollin down the Blvd. From the picture, looks good. Keep going with it.
  7. Which 2n1 kit? I might have an extra body for it. And it's not laziness, just takes a lot of time
  8. During an intermission from the Caddy, I scored a low rider bicycle in 1/25 scale from the AMT ERTL '66 Buick Riviera Lowrider model. Traded in the mail for some stock wheels and grille.
  9. some radiuses shaped into the corners with a file, then primed and painted
  10. Made floor mats from styrene sheet from the RXR section
  11. more progress from previous page...
  12. Yeah, the 'helmet' is chrome in the box too. If you did all the engine plumbing and wiring, that could be a super hot build.
  13. I agree, some badass sht right there
  14. bet he stayed at the, Grand Plaza Park Royal Yangon Hotel not at a guest house with no windows. Total dickhead hope his car beaks down in an inconvenient place and time good info and research on that, christo-f
  15. and a bump quote from page one from lowriderbike.com
  16. right on here is some progress on the front suspension ...
  17. This is the stock OOB part for the front axle suspension I wanted the front wheels to steer left and right, so the part was cut up with scratch built additions Final result before paint
  18. They've been trying that for years So, John Yettaw goes home. He was incarcerated since May, but gets to go home after trespassing into Suu Kyi's house. She is already on thin ice with the Junta and then dude get's her busted again. Read somewhere that he was trying to get the book of Mormon to her. She gets 18 additional months and the trespasser goes free. what? I guess he couldn't ride his bike on water ...
  19. The american visitor incident cost her 18 more months in house arrest.
  20. Do you build military models too? There are some badass dioramas and armored vehicles built and painted like that.
  21. Thanks for the link. Yeah, military modeling is a big community. Lots of kits of vehicles, armor, figures and accessories available especially in 1/35 scale. Another site for cars and trucks, both custom and stock is http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/
