Oh yeah, there's that thread, a very cool thread to showcase some DIY sht. And there's @Dirty_habiT's thread ...

Maybe. maybe meaning that there is a local community bike shop/shop. I could pay the training course to instruct bicycle mechanic students on how to replace the cable, so they do it. I'm a member there so I have unlimited stand time which includes tool access and usage. I could pay one of the volunteer mechanics there to replace it so the $ goes right back into the operation for support. Still deciding on this approach.

Hell yeah, no quit in you. As pictured, mine is also stuck in high but my ride to the store and back home is all flat.
-
How did you recover from that? Were you just out of the race at that point or was it like a pit-stop? Got it replaced then back in action?
-
I know it's too late for this one now but is that recommended to spray into the cable loom from time to time?
-
This happened on my way home from a ride to the store. Cable broke at the paddle shifter for the rear derailleur. I heard a crackle sound then pop. The positives: It already shifted into the gear and not halfway in between gears. I was in the alley, away from traffic. Made it home safely.

Interested in seeing progress and then completion shots of this project.

MUG SHOTS... non recycled no celebrity edition

I wouldn't say Haunting really. Some of them were just space takers so the video list would be longer. Entertaining tho -
Saturday and Sunday morning was on the road driving instruction for the Mrs. She drove herself to work, I was on the passenger seat. It's early enough in the morning so the streets were still quiet. I didn't have to yell or punch the dash board even once.

The 'Stoat' represents the Humber Pig. Famously or infamously deployed in Northern Ireland. -

http://minimetalmayhem.blogspot.com/2014/09/matchbox-reinforcements.html I guess they are Matchbox realm vehicles. The only Weasel armour that I'm aware of is a small tracked vehicle for reconnaissance or airborne divisions. The 'Weasel' actually looks more like a Ferret Scout. -

The middle one looks like a representation of a Panhard 178. The other two, I don't know but look Soviet. -
You were clear, I just thought you were still in his town or still at his pad talking to him. That looks like a solid hobby shop with all that static plastic. Most shops that are still open, even before the pandemic, specialize in RC or Railroad or gaming only. Good on you for helping your friend out.

Is that M3 Lee up top a scratch build or kit? I haven't seen one with that type of Culin hedge cutter. Good work and paint anyway. I don't have that Pajero kit but Tamiya is famous for tight fitting kits. As far as I remember, they never included left hand drive dash boards tho. I think it was Fujimi or Aoshima that would include both LH and RH dash versions.

Haha, you know what's up. I'm gonna watch that sht right now

@SMdoubleXLNice macro shots in there! -
Backtrack back to the basics. Naturally. Seriously, the following is not meant to be funny. Indeed laughter is good for your health but I'm not trying to be funny. Turkey (turkey from a deli or 'sandwich slices' will do as well) Organic garlic (garlic stuffed olives in a jar will do as well) Caff-free herbal tea (bags you have to steep) Dice some garlic in with some turkey meat. Just a small snack portion before bed. Chase this down with the caff-free herbal tea. If you like garlic then it's not chasing it down, you are simply accompanying the palate. Floss before bed but do not brush your teeth with a commercial paste. Do this every night before bed. The first week will not always show improvement. The next week and weeks after, however, will improve your quality of sleep. OTC or pharma is not to be mixed with this regiment.
