Additional Late Nite Andre Info, courtesy of the artist by way of the Urban Discipline book: Andre began doing graffiti around 1985 in paris. He was always a lonesome cowboy in the french graffiti scene. He used to have a crew called TVB, but he was the only member. He was one of the first in europe in the early 90s who began tagging characters (he calls the Mr. A) For him, doing his character was the same as signing his name. Instead of letters, he used a figurative form of expression. Ever since he began doing graffiti, andre has painted on the street. For him, graffiti is not graffiti if it is not on the street and illegal. The resulting graffiti is not as important as the act of doing it.

That character is called Mr.A and he's by this guy from paris. I bought a shirt with a ripoff of his design in a store 2 blocks from one of his characters.

Re: yakster I don't mean to be a dick or anything, but this is far and away the stupidest sticker i have seen. It looks like you took shitty cartoons that 12 year old boys draw on their notebooks and slapped it on a sticker with some stupid graffiti references. Earth to Yakrock: you're posting in the toy thread, don't write "no toys allowed" on your shit. The first drawing looks like you're writing NOC, which is unacceptable. Also, your Y is shit, change your name (don't worry, nobody pulls off a decent Y without being a master). In my experience, the C doesn't leave too much room for improvement either. You've got a good grasp of perspective, but the car is badly drawn. Next time sit in front of a low rider and draw it. Other than that, keep at it.

Migo: You really have to learn how to connect letters in 2 dimensions before you start doing them in 3. Piecing rappers' names is stupid, you come off looking like a 12 year old. Getting back to the letters, you really need to draw a lot of 2d straight letters and perspective letters before you can do a decent wild style, let alone 3D style.
