  2. Thanks for that ^^^^^^^^^^ in the spirit of that, now back to me posting more 2004 bench. OMG NO WAY I was born 30.
  3. :D On some other news, how about getting back to the flix... Just a reminder, all the flix i am posting are 6-7 years old and i have no idea if they are still burning. All were taken in or around Seattle. AND for those who are asking, no, i don't do city or street stuff. I am not skilled in the art of graffiti production, I enjoy art and photography. I have originals of all photos posted in much better quality and most likely have more than one of each photo posted from a different angle or with a different lens setting (usually have a wide angle and a close up) Feel free to PM me if you have any that you are interested in. IF anyone has any request for someone in particular please let me know also, I have so many pics its a bit overwhelming and i really have no idea which artist people want to see and which were toys that i should not waste my time on. I think its important to remember those people that are past on now and painting the big wall in the sky so you might see a bit more of them in my post. Anyway here are some flix to get us back on track. PS: I still have that model you painted for me KILO, thanks again.
  4. nice work how the pole is painted also, thats hard to do without overspraying your work on the wall.
  5. Great find with that herby, The originals are getting rare. Lots more old cars are getting cut up with the price of steel up so much and the reduced rail traffic lately.
  6. Amtrak is already bankrupt and Loses money for every person that rides. This plan might have worked if it was done 40 years ago.
  7. That made me laugh. I can just imagine what that might look like in real life LOL that made me laugh, just lookin to hook up with old friends. These people know me personally and i have met everyone of them in person. Even bombed with some of them. Like i said if your trippin can you at least pass it on to them that Glen is lookin to see whats up. I use to streak fr8s with the moniker THorns.
  8. I have been away from the graff scene for around 5 years now, i had some awesome friendships that have faded. I have reconnected with several people already but some have dissappeared. I would love it if anyone can help me hook up with or maybe pass me a PM about where to find/look for some people I'm still looking for. If your sketched out by this, maybe you can just let them know i am looking to see how they been and whats up with them. Pores was forum name "the boss" while he was in Seattle Mover, (was with Pores usually, pores, mover, and pars where the only people invited to my wedding, funny story) The Losers crew (Life, Koer, Sept, all the cats from Medford) John Easley (i had the chance to meet this guy in person with pars in 12/03 i have a couple canvas he did for me, i heard he got locked up a while back. I know he was close with someone in North Cali, I was suppose to help him transcribe some of his writings for posting on the Internet but never was able to hook up with him again. The Norcal person is a freight streaker if i remember right, i have some more info that i don't want to put out public so if anyone can hook me up with John or someone with intimate details about whats up with him i would be very grateful. Kilo, I know hes still in Seattle. Jobe, I use to see this cat at his work lots. Hotel, bet Pars knows where this guy is. Stel, from Sacramento Strut aka Lumps, I think he moved to Utah or some shit. I still have a canvas he did on my wall. Daner Asic
  9. Sorry according to http://streetfiles.org/search/zztop , that name is taken
  10. So your respect is earned in the ups on the street not by any "legal" competition? I understand that, but i don't think it takes away from someone to compete. It just might not earn them any street respect. I would agree with you if this was some freewall that people were painting for fun or w.e. The difference is that this involved money and was judged. Granted that especially with art judging is highly subjective and there is rarely a situation where everyone agrees. Remember there was no requirement for people to be active street painters to enter. It comes down to what means something to the artist. To some artist, winning the competition and getting the money is more meaningful than having ups in the street. For others having ups in the street (even toy ups) is more meaningful than winning some legal anything. So far i have not seen anyone boasting or claiming any street respect from the competition. Personally i think its cool to see how people do when given plenty of time without urgency to rush to avoid the police. No excuses this way for the quality of the work. And with graffiti there is more than one way to gain respect, you can get up the most, you can do the best quality work, you can hit the best spots, you can do it all, its subjective. Each person decides what earns their respect. Likewise each person decides whos respect if meaningful to them. Peace.
  11. on a side note i ROFL @ http://www.wsnia.org/educator/graffiti_update.htm
  12. They are in between airport way and I-5 south of I-90 on the backside of the buildings, at least they were.
