I think cordura...I'm not entirely sure. Definitely not leather. They appear to be made out of what you'd get if you took a bunch of VHS tapes and shredded them and made it into thread, then made straps out of the thread. Sort of a plastic-y deal. I really have nothing to complain about haha you get what you pay for....I just see all these straps for like $40 and above and I just worry about durability...

I've heard good things about powergrips. I need to figure something out too cuz I DESTROY the cheap 5 dollar straps I keep buying now and it's getting ridiculous.

My understanding was that radially laced wheels reduce the number of spokes and thus the weight, but strength is reduced because a large portion of the wheel's durability is created by the spokes overlapping and having contact.

Milk thistle is definitely a good idea. Even better than that I'd say is taking shots of wheatgrass. It clears out your whole system, really good detoxifier. And not just in the "I've been buying too many 8th row Nuggets/Blazers tickets and am going to get piss tested at Best Buy" sense. Taking a shot of wheatgrass once or twice a day will make you feel like a god among men.

Question: Would it be a really bad idea to have a radially laced front wheel on a fixed gear you plan on skidding around on alot? Everything logical points to yes, however I wonder if anyone has any experience with this they can share.

I personally wouldn't do this... You figure the Pista runs 550$ so investing 300$ you really had better be getting a lot better performance or you're wasting money in my opinion. I can't tell by the picture, but if its the same as mine then you have the Sugino RD crank and BB which is pure crap. If I was gonna throw 300 into mine i'd buy a nicer BB and crankset. Then again you could always put 300 towards a really slick new bike...
