Pistol Posted February 23, 2004 Share Posted February 23, 2004 So I wanna ballon up to 350 or so, and make a lasting impression of my large frame in my bed from staying laying in there for days watching TV and surviving by delivered pizza. This way my family will have something to remember me by. So I want to get a DVR. But I'm not sure which one to get a Tivo or Replay TV. Subscribtion wise they look pretty similar. ReplayTv might have a little more to offer for the same price if I've read correctly. Units seem to vary but cost around the same. I'm leaning towards a Tivo just because of the name recognition (sort of like xerox) and cause so many people have it, i'm thinking it will be around for awhile so I can afford to buy the lifetime subscription for 300$.
