    A burning ring of fire

Discussion started by --zeSto-- - Mar 6, 2003

I heard on a news report that most of the adult males in Iraq
are sitting around loking for work or playing dominos. like always...

Then I hear from another news report that they are making all these
crazy booby-traps around Baghdad. Including a giant moat of oil that
they will set on fire to smoke screen potential missle targets. Logic...?

Where's the boiling oil and spiked sticks?
Maybe some catapults filled with dead rats and the plague.

And why is the most advanced war machine ever going to fight
guys who would consider a 'burning ring of fire' as a good defence?

(sorry mang. I know you though this was about Johny Cash.)

hey, this comes from a culture that takes extreme pride in their mustaches. They're a sign of how manly they are. Apparently, bushier is better.

naw. I think mustaches were okay pre-1900.
All the Coyboys and GoldMiners has mustaches.
I wonder when the mustache went bad?

I'd be willing to be that one of America's earliest
'smear' campaigns was againts foreigners with mustaches.
Dont be like the Germans, Irish, Russians or Brits.. be American!

And now it's gone so far that I personally believe that only African American men
can sport the stash without looking Like 'Swen from Sweden'.

I don't like the Cash version, I like the cover that somebody did...can't remember the name of the band, but they played it at my favorite bar all the time.
There's too many war threads for me to stay on topic.
