_blank_ Posted May 29, 2013 Author Share Posted May 29, 2013 walked a small harbor/marina. not sure of the technical term. but it was just her, her dad and i, there were numerous "touristy" booths set up. snorkeling here..submarine there....parasailing over yonder...then we came upon a fishing boat that had just gotten back to home base. her dad offered some cash for a fish and walked away with it. im not big on fishing, i dont know what he purchased. it was large though. il post a photo in a minute to give you an idea. we put the fish, filets, and chicken on the grill back at the ocean club later that night. along with an assortment of veggies/sides. it was a great meal. i cant complain about any of the food on the whole trip though (besides airport food) it was all delicious! _blank_ Posted June 6, 2013 Author Share Posted June 6, 2013 sorry its so delayed between posts. i am in the middle of a move so things have been hectic. the next few shots are from a luau. it was a pretty cool experience. the one we went to was rated #1 in hawaii apparently? i dunno..what i do know is as soon as we walked in they were passing out mai tai's and it was an open bar the rest of the night. the food was set up buffet style, numerous different types of meat, an awesome salad, rice, veggies, the whole 9. the view was breath taking as some would say, it was a bit "touristy" at times, but overall i got a little taste and knowledge of hawaiin culture.
