Guest imported_b0b
Ok some more hints an tips: If you are going to travel around the country taking the train is the easiest option, but it can be expensive. Book tickets over 2 weeks in advance for the cheapest fares. Use http://www.thetrainline.com to book tickets and http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/planmyjourne...D=873_200498917 to check timetables and changes you need to make. If that is too expensive check www.megabus.com and www.nationalexpress.co.uk coach services for their £1 fares. It is pretty shit and takes forever, but at less than $1 you can't really complain. Also check www.ba.com www.easyjet.com and www.ryanair.com for cheap internal filghts and cheap flights to Dublin. (At the time of writing Ryanair had flights from London to Dublin for less than $6 each way.) In London buy child tickets on the tube and use them when the gates are busy. The gates make a beep beep noise when you use them so the inspectors can check if it is really a child. Tube tickets cost loads and you can walk most places or get the bus. Rack your lunch in the many small supermarkets (like Tescos, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencers) in the centre of town. Drink in Sam Smith's pubs for the cheapest pint in Central London. Guest imported_b0b
The Photographers' Gallery in Central London might be for you too. Got any questions about anything in particular?

Got any questions about anything in particular? Nothing just yet man. As soon as I know a date for when I'll be heading over I'm sure I'll have a TON of questions. I can give the thread a bump, or shoot you an e-mail too. You've been a huge help b0b! *edit.. My dad is leaving for England in a few days. He has to go to the house and sign some paperwork. Of course he's been there before and probably knows some of the area, but I think it's been like 50 years since he's been back to his "home-land"
