martyr az?
and yea screen printign ink sucks, depending on what type it is you might nee to apply heat, a certain light ect. and not to mention its made for clothes.
so no dotn use it
mix with thinne. heres ur list of thinners
paint thinner
naptha(my fav)
toulene
xylene
acetone
mineral spirits
those are teh easy to find ones
just add in thinner and mix until its the right thickness
if ur gunna use it as it comes. use zig postermans. same marker just acrylic ink instead. shit lasts forever, back before i knew how to make ink i used it straight, still have tags running looking good as new from 3+ yrs ago
eh i havent experimented wiht amounts too much, but i usually add about half an ounce per CUP of ink. a cup of ink lasts a while if u use it in a marker.
pm me for more info about it
yea it dissolves in alcohol and is kinda like sunscreen for inks. they use it in plastic packaging to make the products not fade.
and i have used it...but i only use like half a spoonful per ink mix, so 1000g lasts a long time. PM me if u want some, i want cash, brand name markers, or caps!
yea oink n pilot shud be good.
basically, to make a good ink out of brand inks, just take any pigmented ink :
DED outdoors
pilot
marsh
ect
then mix it with any hard staining/ mostly dye based ink:
garvey-best(its legit only dye and solvwnts)
oink
corio
grog
whatever floats ur boat
word.
heres a list of inks n thier bases for anyone who wants to know
oink-alcohol
grog-alcohol
DED-oil
pilot-xylene??? ? ?
garvey-alcohol
mr.black(and all mr colors)-oil
all those shitty paints liek gusto ect.-oil
corio-alcohol
feel free to add to my list
gv is gentian violet, its the purple stuff that comes in lil bottles, does the same thing as iodine, u can find it in teh band aid isle SOMETIMES.
its also the only stainer in garvey. garvey is basically highly concentrated gv.
nah im pretty sure its xylene or alcohol based.
oink is alcohol based aswell.
most GOOD inks are oil based though, becasue theyre kind of a mix, highly pigmented like DED with lot of stainers too. And with oil based inks its a lot easier to find binders to suspend pigments
yes you can.
its not water based, not acylic(acrylic is a paint, and you'd be able to tell, its waterbased and has a distinct smell), bitumen, also not. grog is pretty much alcohol based, you can mix
yea, i realize bare metal cannot be stained...i mean like painted surfaces or shit like that. w.e. im not goign to argue, if you want more proof that it works pm me haha
