You might as well use it on some painted surfaces, it should do alright on there. On porous surfaces its not bad, but on metal it doesnt ghost if thats what your looking for.
Empty them out and refill them with good ink because they make nice mops if you got the 2oz ones haha
Where did you find them at? I bought a 2oz online and when I realized it sucked I refilled it with the steel dye I bought at the same time.
Layout fluids dont stain, they can be taken off from metal with lacquer thinner. I had steel red, and it came right off with a rag and thinner. Get Dykem steel dye, they actually stain the surfaces pretty good.
I only have 4 caps... a german outline, a pink dot, grey dot, and ny fat. Ive been using them since i started and I just clean them out when Im not using them I keep them in paint thinner hahah... Ill never get rid of those caps.
You can scratch off pretty much any paint... it dries a layer on the surface it doesnt pentrate it. Anything can get buffed if they really want it gone so you might as well just use it straight.
The art store by my house chose german Montana over that paint (they already bought however much a dealer has to buy of the Montana when they found the Plutonium G or something... I dont really remember this was in July), they had a couple cans in the back though and I tried it... I was sad at that moment =(
Those are my favorite mops for metal or any smooth surface, take out the valve if you want more flow for drips or push down and squeeze alittle more and there perfect. On any non smooth surface the nibs get ripped up in 2-3 tags.
