Get violet or the not as staining black ink from Garvey. It's easier then ordering a bunch of inks to try and decide which is best when Garvey stains as hard as any of them, plus its even better if you can find any of the chemicals that make it stain harder and mix them in.

Mine is more pastel cause its real harbor blue and not white and royal blue.

Alkyd paint, which I think your talking about, is pretty much the same as oil-based so it should work fine.

So I just got pure methylene blue, gentian violet, and potassium permangante, anyone know about how much to add to ink? I heard if you add too much it just sinks to the bottom.

It doesnt take as many as you think, and its nicer paint IMO.
