  1. ^^^ co-signed Those Rad-inspired fucks snake me , they get a board through their spokes or mags . ;)
  2. Damn Lackeys ( Lakai )...
  3. Yes that is a setup form the days of old . Continental trucks , wow . That skateboard is most likely from 1978-1979 . It was made for the " Jaws " craze , as in the movie with huge shark...My guess is the person dumped the original trucks and put on Continental's as well as different wheels . I've seen a Battlestar Galactica setup for sale before going for $350 ! I just did a search on eBay and came up with this . http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-JAWS-SKATEBOARD-RED-Steven-Spielberg-shark_W0QQitemZ120192206948QQihZ002QQcategoryZ114248QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem A lot of TV shows & Movies had promotional items such as skateboards made and sold to the public . You'll laugh but there's an actual Nash " Fall Guy " board that's sought after highly by collectors as they only sold 500 of them . That's definitely a nice piece of history and should be kept . Good score .
  4. My VHS is on " static display " , along with all my other dinosaur artifacts of skateboarding . Say what you want the Cadillac setup from the late 60's was the best garage sale find ever . People keep trying to skate it when they come over and usually wipe the fuck out .
  5. Maybe if I grow a beard I can fall into what you guys call " hesh " , or whatever word they use nowadays .

  8. Oh no , that's just where it was decided at the time . It was going to be LA , Houston or Portland . But PHX won out by a huge vote .
  9. I say the people that post the most , meet up somewhere this Spring/Summer . I did that on concretedisciples.com and there was a turnout of 22 people . It was fun . We all met up in Phoenix , me flying from Ohio I was the only other dude East of the Mississippi . Some stayed in hotels , tents , at the 3 locals houses . I realize some here are married , have kids like myself , etc...but it would be fun . And put people's skating where their mouth is .
  10. It wasn't even serious , why the - props ? Oh no , my e-cred is so hurt .

  18. We had Ippit Park in Cleveland before the bulldozers demolished the brick banks . R.I.P. A lot of history there , not as much as EMB . The P.R. Banks in Cleveland still exist , but good luck not getting jacked by some young vato .
  19. I was touring with the Chargers after high school in 1995 . It was still there . I still miss the Mission District's food . :(
  20. No , I didn't skate it before it was torn down . Never heard of it . I never skated the Brooklyn Banks , which I have to do before I get too old and can't walk let alone skate .

  23. I knew you'd laugh at the first part , just humor . It is kind of funny looking at it . Hahahaha .
  24. Midwest skaters will still continue to carry the " cross " , and that's something I think a kid from Chicago to Detroit to Cleveland is proud of . So what we're outcasts . I've always dug that vibe .
