If you're talking about construction paint/ground marking cans etc, go to home depot and see how many of them are stocked versus how much Painters touch, AA, Rusto etc.

Because they probably have no clue that most of the cans they sell, the caps are removed and replaced with fat caps.

That's because that's the only demographic that's vocal about what they're using it for.

Seriously, how much paint do you think some average Joe goes through? If they're painting a grill or whatever they go to the store, buy one can, use it for what they needed, then that can sits on a shelf. Same shit with construction workers. They use it to mark shit or paint lightswitches and maybe go threw a few cans per project. I know alot of writers that go through hundreds of cans in just a few months.

I've worked construction. They don't use anywhere near the amount of paint as writers. Do you even write graffiti?

How would they have any way of knowing the percentages of whos hands it ends up in anyways? They'd probably just make up some fake chart (like the one at the top of this page) that makes them look more legit.

Anybody that thinks construction workers and average Joes account for anywhere near the amount of spraypaint as writers is seriously delusional.
