i figured i post the last one, since i don't see a DE thread, and dude put some doo-dads around town recently.

^Those are actually some good photos... regardless of the content... it's stuff you'd actually see if you spent a few hours outside. and its 'current', as in not buffed or relatively recent... i've been watching a lot of people come on this board and be all like "props to so and so...", when the people they talk about haven't even painted in a minute, or to even hear people still hatin' on ATB, as if ATB even caused any drama in the past year (*which they didn't.). it just lacks relevance, just like it wouldn't make sense to talk about juwan howard and the bullets in 2007. bottom line is that a lot of people who have commented are people who don't know really what's going on... and i'm not talking about painting... just the state of what the city is like right now. like go ride a bus or train or something. wait don't ride a bus, because u won't see anything at all. all i'm sayin is, people can stay a little more current with their understanding of what's going on... and feel free to use the internet to do that, but don't let that be everything.

i ain't no stress expert, but maybe your job is just too demanding for u. or maybe u work too hard at your job. like some people say "work, don't work HARD"... which means don't break your back, but at the same time stay consistent at what u do. but if staying consistent means killing yourself at work, then i guess u should either find another job or reassess your role at work, because all the beers, blunts, and bitches (and whatever goodies) you take in after work won't be helpin u that much. there's always more jobs out there, and sometimes u have to move to another city to find it. oh yea and not for nothing, but i never really got that phrase "don't sweat the small stuff" completely, but its definitely easier said than done. dust off your shoulders homie. haha

For most kids its about fame, and so they hit up mostly NW. Let's face it, there are only like 4-7 DC writers. Everyone else is situated somewhere else, no diss to y'all. So where everyone congregates, is where most kids think its worth it to paint. And nobody front like y'all meet on Benning Road to draw in books at Denny's. I guess it is indeed a matter of convenience and just plain out of safety. BUT... Truthfully, both Storytime and Kizops are correct about their ideas... There's no reason that NE and SE, and even SW (the very little of it), shouldn't get painted. (I mean that was your the very bottom of your idea right???) No reason to stop anyone... you have buses, digital cameras to flick for your lil' audiences, and everyone and their mother has like 100 lookouts. And who knows how many of y'all have cars. I was kind of buggin out while looking at some of Rivs' photos of non-NW, because some of those tags from like 10-13 years ago, would have never seen the light had he not posted them. And I guess that's the one little peculiar thing about DC; sometimes u'll do something or be somewhere, and u'll think NO ONE ON THIS FUCKIN PLANET has a clue what u did or were about to do. It was almost like your own secret/story. It is some "while the toys are home cuddling their pillows" shit for real. DC is its own thing for sure. No other East Coast city has a clue about it. And hopefully u understand, if u don't then whatever.
