feels good to post once more here's some i shot yesterday with a single strobe with only the modeling light. the strobe hungover the head of the model and had a beauty dish and grid.
what do you guys think?

some from a cotillion i went to shoot shit. yellow room and natural light makes for a fuckin headache.

Still having some problems with the t1i kind of stalling. Got new memory card, will try tommorow. Hey emen what should the settings be for shooting shots like this???
I think it turned out cool- but everytime i would go to take a pic it would stall, or wouldn't even
try manually focusing and if you shoot at F/16 (Manual Setting) it will give you a depth of field thats less shallow and with a longer shutter speed you will get a sicker flick. Oh yes and if you havent invested in one get a tripod and remote shutter to minimize camera shake. Pretty much experiment with different lengths of exposure.

Ok, since I bothered the hell out of some of you in the photo talk thread about a camera, Its time I post a few.
Been looking in this thread FOREVER it seems..and very intimidated YET extremely inspired by you all.
Critique or not (i know this is not THAT thread), I have already been graded a " I expected better from you" from the guy who does my prints. I have chosen a few favorites/ones I think are good, also to look back in a year and say.."damn!..how embarassing!" I know how it goes..we all think we're alright at first, then as we progress, we let go a bit more.

i hate to quote a photo that has already been quoted but this shot is awesome. it would have been better if you would have had an off camera flash to brighten them up, but your still learning and probably dont have the gear necessary to do that (Which I Dont Either). Keep up the progression SMDBLXL

MN1 what TLR do you have? Those don't look like 6x6.
those had the 645 mask on em i realized it was scrathcing the shit outta the film so i removed it im shooting some kodak portra 400 with it right now i just havent had time to finish the roll
