  3. I would suggest HO, for the reasons you already stated. Your idea of a layout of your own yard is choice. Do it. There is another thread regarding model trains here, check it out. Most of those are HO. Then check out Mellow Mike's HO trains here.
  4. Got any pictures? post em if you have some. We want to see that plastic. Military armor, vehicles, and figures is my primary interest too.

  8. Re: Mazinger Z you're a designer on this project? or are you customizeing a model kit of it? if toy and anime robot design is you job, then focus on that, man. make lots of money, then retire. Then you can make models on a tropical beach with your toes in warm sand, drinking a Singha. oh that would be the life.

  22. Re: models... revell snap-tite There are snap together models on the market too. No glue required. images from: revell.com
  23. cool, man, thanks. I use a small brush and thin the paint to look like spray paint sprayed back and forth quickly like in a fill. Never use white or black but instead light grays and dark grays so that in scale it's more acceptable. Then go back with the appropriate paint solvent and touch up some edges to look like over spray and fades. Macro pics of these will reveal this. These pics from further away look better. lol Also, a few buffed square spots here and there add realism. BOXCUTTERS, you mean across the brick wall? I have some pictures of some famous rollers I'd like to duplicate in scale later.
