  1. definately getting off topic... but another thing to note is..... some neo conservatives get offended by the term. they believe it is synomous with "jew" when used by "traitor" conservatives. of course this stems from the old right america firster paleo cons or true conservatives who are against all foreign alliances, no exceptions even for israel.
  2. allow me to break it down in simple easy to understand terms. a neo conservative is not a conservative. they are ex communists and 60s liberals who rode the reagan revolution into power. many neo cons do expouse social conservatism, (mainly to win the votes of the nations middle class conservative core) however many do not. one of the key differences between conservatives and neo conservatives is foreign policy. conservatives favor america first and an non interventionist foreign policy. neo cons believe in global democracy and a crusade to secure it. this is liberalism as embodied by Woodrow Wilson. why i call neo cons, liberals is simple. they believe in the federal state. conservatives do not. this is the basic core of each ideology. liberalism is belief in a strong central government and wanting citizens to rely on it. conservatives believe in small, decentralized government, and local control and individualism. decentralization, the principles espoused in the VA and KY resolutions penned by James Madison and Thomas Jefferson are held with as much esteem as the constitution and declaration. conservatives also believe in strict construction of the federal constitution. neo cons do not. they pretend they do, but they do not. it is against thier agenda of big government, deficits, and imperial foreign wars. neoconservatism is not conservatism. it is a form of liberalism.
  3. obviously, im referring to the guy who wrote the article. im saying this because that is what the author of the article is. if someone on the right wrote something like that baiting the left, he would damn near be indicted for violation of federal hate crime laws. i wonder if the author knows what a "neo con" is? and if he really hates them. after all a neo con is a liberal.
  4. wow... what an uninformed, hateful, bigoted ass fuck.
  5. "what? So If someone rapes and kills your daughter what do you do with him?" DING DING DING!!!!!! EXACTLY!
  6. those damn southern racists......
  7. eh, not a good analogy. i cant think of many british who fought for the nazi's. let me rephrase "an assload of indians, mainly cherokee and others of the 5 civilized tribes fought for the confederacy. and the war, as we all know was all about slavery and the northern good ol boys swooped down to save the day!" and those damn racist rednecks )with those jews in the CSA government) and those damn 100,000's of blacks who fought for and aided the confederacy. its so black and white! sorry. but back to abortion.....
  8. I don't think using property rights is a good analogy esp since land is this country was stolen from Indian nations... and I wouldn't compare cells inside a body to an imaginary line around a piece of soil Quoted post [/b] its kind of funny when you think about it. the indians fought for the confederacy during the war between the states. what a twisted web isnt it?
  9. i disagree. every one is endowed with "certain inalienable" rights, among them life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. governments are not to violate these rights, and were created to protect them. just as important for the government to establish what rights we have, is the right to establish which of us has those rights. enter the sovereign state governments, under the system known as federalism. abortion is a very very dangerous form of tyranny. the government simply decides a certain class of people are not people, therefore not entitled to rights. the right to kill someone (abortion) is protected the same damn way slave owners property (slaves) was protected in antebellum america. if a class or race of people was enslaved or mass murdered, it would be an outrage. nazi germany sent millions of people to thier deaths. in america, the government is allowing the people to practice a program of mass murder. the argument boils down to private property. the pro abortion side goes like..."the baby is mine, in my body, my property, i can kill it if i want." with this logic, anyone who steps on foot of your property can be killed, even if they are delivering the mail.
  10. if you dont understand the principle, i could easily say the same thing about you. why is it bad to kill someone, but you talk of taking out iraqi's?
  11. this is where the problem is. the national government has no authority to even be talking about this issue. its not about the issue at hand, but jurisdiction. with a liberal supreme court in place, (read statist supreme court) they can interpret the constitution as they want. thing is they just cant for some reason nail down exactly where the "privacy" right is in the constitution. its somewhere between the 14th (purpose :grant citizenship to free blacks) the 9th (rights reserved to the people) and the 4th (only explicit privacy right protected by the feds... search without warrant) i find no where, in the document where it says "a woman shall have the right to abort her baby." since there is no expression of an abortion right in the constitution, it is not a federal issue. enter the 10th amendment. puts the issue in the states. the courts overstepped its bounds. if abortion was to be protected by the federal government as a natural right, use the proper process and pass an amendment. i'll see you at the process. however, it is much easier, with a liberal big government supreme court to simply create a "right" in the constitution and set a ruling, because there is no way an amendment allowing abortion would have passed. this simple act by unaccountable unelected life tenured judges is astonishing. it could just as easy decide that "hey bush;s wire taps are totally constitutional (when they arent)" or some sort of extreme tyrannical legislation is constitutional. which is why im opposed to big government and judicial supremacy. i believe in decentralized power, limited government and local control.
  12. there is no hypocrisy in being pro death penalty and anti abortion. simple morals say that killing innocent lives is wrong. if you believe life begins at conception, then you are taking an innocent life by having an abortion. a murderer for instance, getting the death penalty, squares with morals, even with God's moral law. as the proper transcription of the thou shalt not kill commandment is thou shall not murder. however there is hypocrisy in being pro offensive war and bring pro life.
  13. i support the bill south dakota is pushing for. if the bill passes, it does not over turn roe. Roe V Wade usurped the individual states power to decide the issue, where it had been since the start of this nation. roe centralized the government one step further. consolidation of the government is a thing to be extremely cautious of as Jefferson noted. local and decentralized laws are the key to liberty. now, the purpose of the state legislatures pushing the law is to simply try to reassert state sovereignty and the 10th amendment. they are hoping to get the law passed, which would then be put into the federal courts, hopefully to the supreme court, to challenge the roe decision. if roe is over turned, fear not pro abortion people... all the blue states, where most people have abortions anyway will still have them, as they will vote to have abortion legal. ah the beauty of federalism.
  14. damn at the sidebar huh? reckon i'll see you there, son. best show i have been to lately... was sick of it all and terror. good energy, people flipping off the top balcony. great times. dont forget deicide and goatwhore soon, and napalm death and goatwhore a few months from now.
  15. bump, yors should come back up to baltimore.
  16. with honor is a decent band. saw them with sick of it all last month. good shit
  17. MAYHEM grand declaration of war. and i gotta admit its gotta be there worst effort.
  18. yeah they do put on a good show. it was a good show. ive seen them a good 5- 6 times and the energy is always there. there sound brought back a different approach to the monontonous tough guy stuff. i gotta admit i dont think american nightmare is like totally awesome, but i do like there shows. good sing alongs and stuff. whos going to slayer and arch enemy in dc?
  19. yeah man ptw second cd was awesome. i loved hatebreed right b efore and after their victory album came out. then 4 years later playingthe same songs got sorta old. but i dont care what anyone says, to many bands just try to take something too far. as with ptw, eighteen visions, etc. 18v 2 first albums were awesome, even the 3rd on trustkill was ok. but the vanity thing is gay. people find a trend then murder it. thats why i just about abandoned hardcore and went to total metal. i used to be super scenester, now i just go when a decent band is playing. most hardcore sucks, mostly because of the metal core bullshit now.
  20. i guess you could say im a metal head with a hardcore heart. i agree the price is steep. but honestly i think its hardcore kids going to be at a metal show. there are no hardcore bands headlining. hopefully the hardcore bands will be on a different stage to elimate the dumb fights. metal pits and hardcore pits are totally different. thats why im kinda weirded out about going to slayer. archemeny and hatebreed cause your gonna have a bunch of floor punchers for hatebreed and metal heads for slayer. it might not be good. or you could try to do what im going to do and just get brutal. haha
  21. its like mid november. check out nj metal and hardcore fest on like google. morbid angel, children of bodom, nile, danzig, superjoint ritual, all out war, dimmu borgir, blah blah and like 500 other bands. its 2 days, and 75 bucks for both days

  24. ok so alot of the bands mentioned arent "hardcore." however they are not metal either. i think they are more influenced by hardcore than death/thrash or grind. henceforth metalcore. i like seekings list. prayer for a cleansing acedia for the love of all that remains walls of jericho facedown age of ruin next step up old 18v extinction until the end birthright also all do it for me on the metal tip slayer dying fetus iron maiden scar culture inflames emperor opeth children of bodom at the gates old soilwork cephalic carnage bolt thrower death darkest hour circle of dead children and of course our black metal hero's venom and mayhem.
