  1. Should be fun. Its weird to think about being there without knowing anybody whose gonna be there. I always thought if I ever made it to one of these events It would be a road trip/party with friends, not solo on a plane. This is possibly a good thing though the more I think about it. Would probably suck to have to monitor drunk friends all the time... not that i WONT necessarily be drunk.:)

  2. Im painting at this years Under Pressure and just wanted to see if anybody had any good advice on where to go and what to do the Friday, and Saturday prior (besides the obvious)

Any shit you have to see? shit to avoid? Cool stories from past events? Montreal looks pretty awesome and I dont want to go, and miss anything I might regret once I get home.

Thanks in advance for your humorous, dumb ass, and mostly delightful replies.

  3. North America joins the world in a war for all natural resources. Draft, guns for all, Canada becomes "the Northern State", and the devide between good and evil begins in preperation for "the end". There... I said it.

    P.S

    - Oh, and obviously... graffiti becomes a terrorist act... officialy. Yeah, I'm a hater. And I'm totally fucked in the head! Cheers! Happy 2007 bitches!

    P.P.S

    - Australia, you should be proud. You set the "year clock" of the world!

    5 minutes! I'm fucked!

  4. Merry Christmas to all bombers who put in work! It's been a long year and I think we all deserve a pat on the back. After numerous trips to the drunk tank, and resolution after resolution after resolution, here we are. Still drunk... but still up. I hope we all can get back in touch with our family's and get our prioritys straight this year again... but, unfourtunately.... it still looks unlikely. I am still 100% down for all you nameless 12oz cats who break the law in the name of public rebelion. No... I'm not a scientist, but I think I know what it takes to get up. BALLS.

So, in closing, I salute all the assholes who are still to drunk to care, and the writers, who are still to drunk to stop. We have a long road ahead... I'm 25, and yet I still hit anything I can anytime I can. Married and everything.

You are still up. Pat your self on the back, because you've still been putting in work regardless. Fuck toys, and maintain the rules of respect. I just think everyone should know in this website that I do my shit... so quit actin'. People talk about ink, and guns, and money... but who lives the life with dedication? I see people like Desa MTA. Cope KD. O'Clock LT27, Smash TFV, Reyes MSK, Anyone from philly. The list goes on.

Who the fuck are we to judge each other? Toys know toys, and kings know kings. Fuck the rest. Hood to hood things get crazy.

Merry Christmas motherfuckers! from one writer to another. I can only represent me. Check out www.Stompdown.ca. Check the Myspace link vids. Peace, love, and merry fuckin comercial x-mas 120z! I love the site and the dedicated work the 12oz boys put in! Cheers!.

*** I am hoping this reaches its way to the darkest corners of 12oz since it reached its way to this thread! ie. channel zero.

  5. I'll say reparations are in order... but in different ways than I think most African Americans want. Native Canadian Indians have reparations. They still ;ive like shit. It's no lie. I've lived on the reservations in Saskatchewan at one point and I can definetly tell you that giving a fuckload of uneducated, poor people a wad of cash doesn't solve shit. They buy fancy cars, booze, and drugs... but nobody prospers. The educational system needs a serious overhaul. All races need to seriously intergrate. I mean as in racial freindship, not sexual relationships. I have been lucky enough to have grown up with all ethnicity of people, and I can tell you that all the color/racial bullshit dfferences are nothing compared to the bigger problem of "priority" of all north american people. Fuck, I cold go on all night. The word "success" is missunderstood. Being materially "loaded" will still leave you with a poor level of human worth.

    Night,

    Sg.

  6. LOL... every time I post a thread or reply, I feel I must be the most hated person in this forum. Keep in mind that a poll taken by 12oz declared it's majority of users as between the ages of 15 and 19 or some shit. And that what you say as a mod of a graff forum gives you auto jock points with these kids. If they criticise you, I say they are haters.

  7. Thats funny. Your car being broken into 3 times in 2006 isn't so bad compared to some of my freinds. Vancouver is the auto theft capital of north america (per capita) and the heroin AND aids capital (per capita) in noth america. If you have a CD player in your car/truck in the metro, it will be stolen. I rock a shitty 80's style stock tape deck. It's kinda fun actually, making mixtapes. Forcing myself to remember the day when all the homies would trade mixtapes of their favorite shit. And having fun making my own mixtapes. In a way... It's a lost art no? I mean, what kind of loser would do that in this day and age?.... sigh. :(

  8. hey all, I just tested out the Do'Em Dirty Inside job (black) on some metal phone booths outdoors. The lightfastness was good, stood for 2 weeks, but when the good old buff came along that shit was gone without a trace. I'm aware that it's meant for insides so I'm not saying it's not good for that. Insides usually have some type of ultra absorbant coating on all ther metal/plastics, and the plastic type shit is a gimme with all types of stains from leather dye too garvey. As far as inks go, in my opinion, nothings really going to leave a nice stain outside. I've been fucking around for a while now and it seems the real determining factor is the quality of the buffers cleaning supply and effort. Although, Corrio did just come available in my country most recently... so maybe...if I'm lucky....... nahhhh. Best to just kill shit without concern. But seriously; I've yet to see a stand up ink in an outdoor environment. And with "Goodbye Graffiti's" special chemicals.....

  9. Well DOEMDIRTY... after hearing several cross-american reveiws, I've decided to pay the cost to be the boss. That shit is expensive to get into Canada homie. But I took the plunge and I'm going to hit shit spree style. From what I hear... its the best. I've been into inks for a while and the best combo I've found so far is Garvey + Marsh. Allthough "Inside job" is rated as an indoor ink, I'll be testing it on all types of outdoor surfaces, just as I have with Nero, Grog, Garvey, Feibings, etc. Tell me though... what has your experience been with a ded (doemdirty) marsh combo for outdoor surfaces? I know the biggest problem with stainers is lightfastness so I'll pay top dollar if the shit that stays permanent outdoors.

    P.S>>

    - I really dont think paint/graff companys are up on there game enough in the ink department, so I'll tell you right now without even trying the ink that its allready better than ALL the commercial inks on the market based on your photos. I've taken a year of bussiness and marketing in school (not that that mean shit) and think someone like you could lock the market if yu came up with a good outdoors stainer and could get it produced comercialy. ITS WHAT EVERY BOMBER WANTS. We can all agree on that. Just look at the bullshit ink Montana and OTR have!!! EVERY BOMBER WITH HEART DREAMS OF AN INK TO STAIN HARD OUTDOORS!!! Can I get a witness?!?!?! Its the only way a new revolution in graff will get started. And I know the technology is out there.

  10. argh. pilots...the only set back is that they can't be refilled with paint, therefore you have less of a colour range. and the ink in them isn't exactly the best ink in the world. you'd be better off spending a bit more on an otr.

Actually, pilot ink is one of the best straight black inks on the market. The only reason I go marsh is because pilot isnt sold in quarts. You may be able to get a broader color range with paint, but ink is where its at when it comes to permanence and (anti) buffability. I can tell you from 10 years experience with both... respectively, and humbly. Cheers.

  11. A bunch of people in my neighborhood had a mad street gathering bout some "patroling the neiborhood with bats" shit. Now we got a bunch of gay ass beat cops and "city ambassadors" to try and keep the peace. Cops aint stopping shit, just annoying local goodpeeps. Still... I'll protect my shit.

  12. ...Still going good on the garvey/marsh mix for over a year now. Resistant against the elements and buff. Good thing I love buff marks. The longer it stays up the better it stains, or so it would seem. Summertime cooks that shit right into the surface. Time to get up Vancouver.

  13. First off, I'm aware that this could get closed down fast... but I thought it might be a good post in this forum not to stir shit up or hear bullshit, but for someone half credible to set things correct.

I'm a fan of both New York and Los Angeles bombers respectively. The history is different, the styles are different, whatever. I'm not here to gossip or start a big bullshit session. So if somebody who isnt a complete biased asshole could set this straight please... I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, this can be closed and I'll respect that as well. Ykk Tfv .vs. Tko Msk.. etc.

A simple one sentance answer would do nicely, or just close it ( if you do, I'm sorry to have annoyed you mod, all due respect. )... thanks.

  14. I think TKO crew has alot of underappreciated history that people cant understand. The roots of the lettering the style is based off of has more meaning than most fools know. Old English is the base of most new styles, but only a few people can come corect with the modified shit... Tlok is one of these cats. To work the style correct you need to know the history behind it. beleive TKO is part of the progession of modern typography. Respecting local tradition and style beyond "hip hop" graff. The carrying on of a beautifull tradition (old engish ) with the addition of tight application in low class venues.
