  1. I believe Ese still has it. My internet connection is going down more often than a Russian sex slave. Fuck. Its taken me at least 15 minutes to get this far.
  2. Here's the original list. If anyone wants off the list holler. Has anyone on the list gone MIA on 12oz or are we all still here? Let's get this shit rollin.
  3. yo...where's that pass around camera at? I heard it was with one of the 12 oz journals...tell me it isn't so. Probably not a good idea to send it off during the holidays. Heavy...I tend to agree with you man. Arcel's place definitely looks bigger from the inside. Nice floor mat though.

I usually switch to the mountain side when winter rolls in. Its a hell of a lot easier to stay warm in the woods where the trees break up the wind. Here are some things I use or have heard about. Keeping your feet warm: smart wool socks vaseline inbetween your toes plastic bread baggies over your socks specialty socks like GoreTex. Sugoi makes a two-ply water and windproof sock. I have these and they work well as long as they are not tight buy a pair of no vent shoes in one size larger than normal bubble wrap in the soles of your vented shoes and duct tape to cover the vents specialty winter shoes like Northwave or Gaerne (I have the Polars) Keeping your hands warm: lobster gloves (I have these and they work great) silk liner or latex gloves under a normal pair of full finger riding gloves Lower half: I have some kick ass winter tights that have fleece on the inside. I can't remember who makes them (some European company). Any tights with a wind-proof front are gonna kick ass vaseline on your legs Upper half: base jersey, normal jersey and some kind of jacket fleece Voler thermal jacket with a base jersey and one normal jersey usually gets me through the worst weather I thought I'd keep it pretty general. I'm sure most of you guys already know most of these tricks. As far as pimp gear items that I have...I'll never do without that Voler thermal jacket. Its the bomb diggity. Icebike has lots of good info.
  6. ^^ umm, wink. "here is a picture of me, curtesy of my friend and curtesy of my shitty scanner. "

5th place last cross race and I even led a lap. Not quite there yet...but I'm definitely feeling stronger. Race on Sunday....so I'll have to tone Saturday nights festivities down a bit.
  9. I'm all over it PMB! killer idea... speaking of which...has the passaround touched down yet?

2 cross races over the weekend. Saturday...6th place...Sunday...7th place. I had 3rd on lock for all but the last two laps on sunday. My shorts caught my saddle and I wrecked on the barriers. I ended up getting frustrated and taking too many chances. Wrecked again and sat up for a while because I was so pissed. Another race this weekend...hopefully I'll crack the top 5 if not podium.
  11. ^^ yes...you should. Its been forever since I've had the time to get out and shoot. I'll have to fix that.
  12. nope. 7000 posts, but 6276 topics (threads). 724 posts were in a thread you already posted in.

cross starts for me this weekend. I've taken a few nasty falls lately, so I haven't been riding much. One of my teammates and I managed to get third in a 12 hour race. We had 2nd on lock when he somehow lost a pedal. Ended up losing something like 17 minutes due to riding one footed. I think I made 10 of those minutes up on my last lap, but he couldn't pick up the last 2 minutes so we settled for third. new team for me as well. and yeah...you definitely need to race cross.
  14. ^^agreed...I've been messing around with nudes and I know the girls would be pissed if I posted them up here. I'm still trying to get them to agree to putting them up in my show.
  15. here's the list again. It hasn't made it my way yet. If the timing works out right (which it should)...I found a bad ass place that is beggin for shots. I'll probably take the new girl on a road trip for it. she shoots as well, so maybe I'll post some of her stuff up some time. jbrsh...hit me up on email sometime so I can get your address.
  16. nice score rage. I got a polaroid similar to the impulse from work for free and a friend picked up one like the square shooter for something like $20 at a garage sale.
  17. ^^ I just now noticed the old guy looking out of the doorway.

I've heard nothing but good stuff about the Pista and the Surly steam roller. Surlys are good, cheap, bullet proof bikes with a modest weight.

aluminum. ;) congrats on the new bike man. now its time to get used to the pain. a nice carbon fork will take that edge off. I'd probably be down with a jersey. All I have is race shit...and I'm kinda tired of looking like a walking billboard everywhere I go. Did you have a manufacturer picked out for the jersey yet? If not...I have a couple of suggestions. I picked up the photos this weekend...so they're on their way.

Dibs....do you have a mountain bike? If so your cross dilemna is fixed. I couldn't imaging missing cross season...so my answer would be get a new cross bike. Besides, when a settlement is reached...they will most likely just give you a check...so you can buy a road bike then. glad to hear you got a lawyer. lemonds...I haven't heard anything bad about them. I'm all over the Lance farks...nice.

one addition: be sure to check your tire for the cause of the flat. if you ride trail...there could be a thorn in there...and you guessed it...you'll have a brand new flat on your brand new tube if you don't remove it first.
  25. you got mail holmes. feel free to edit your email addy out at will. jbrsh...nice. I really dig that shot.
