GHOST252 Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 heres some thing i thought up a while ago(never tried it though) first you need to get: rite gard gel deoderent a sheet of felt super glue unthinned bucket paint step1: prepairing your shit first empty out the rite gard it should open at the bottom just pull the black part off dont put it back in yet then cut a piece of felt big anuf to cover the top but small anuf so none hangs over the edge step2:the rest of the shit you need to do after you did step1 all you need to do now is super glue the felt on the top(dont glue over the holes) step3:fill it up next you should screw the plastic thing pushing the gel out all the way to the bottom then poor in paint and put black part back in and start to screw the plastic part up the paint should start to come out the top and soke in to the nib ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if someone trys this and it didnt work remeber i sayed i never tried it was just an idea so no questions ps cockapoopoopeepeeshire Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sk8er6 Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 sheet felt is the best for homemade ink markers. i have gotten a homemade to work once with paint, but is dried out and ruined the nib after 4 tags. socks dont really absorb for shit either though.or you can do the kiwi way and have a nib with holes in it for flow. or even better yet. ________________________________ piece of felt/cloth with no holes XXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXX} XXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXX}solid felt, foam, w/e .......\hole.........\hole.........\hole and im trying to make a flow valve, possibly a pump valve to make a chapstic marker, or any homemade that can succesfully use paint. should i bother, or just use the method above? I dont think making a flow valve or a pump valve should be too difficult. Isn't a pump valve a flow valve except the nib is sitting on top instead of the flow being inside it? Just put the ignore on him. Makes things so much better. You can't put paint in a marker that you use a deodorant stick to make. For several reasons. 1.You would have a use a nib, most likely eraser felt or a sock It's what I did when I was kid. Paint will not go through either. Sorry it just doesn't. This type of "marsh marker" is for ink only people. 2.You wont be able to force the paint out of the stick by twisting the bottom. This requires for the deodorant stick to be air tight. If it's air tight, how can you twist the bottom? You can't! Good answer. The paint would come out on your hands where the twisting knob is. 3.SMOOTNUTS... I assume that you posted this incredible find. Do you have any flicks of this working model marker?? Have you ever tried this out before? DONT MAKE SUGGESTIONS ON THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING OF. There are plenty people on this board that were totally confused about this stuff and patiently watched the board and asked good questions and now have good input. Maybe you should try AOL graff chat or something that will allow all of your misinformation to flourish and make sense to other people that don't know what they are talking about. People on this thread are seriously doing things... and you are making false suggestions. You put a fucking recipe up with BLEACH in it, in the ink thread.
