Sorry for acting like such a dick in that last post. I can't resist talking shit sometimes.

SOOOO, Ny was the first to have the modern day graff big boom. No doubt about that. Trust me, if I could time warp I'm going back to that time without hesitation. The(feeble) point I was trying to make is that LA had the first stylized SPRAY PAINT tags, like I said before. You old guys know that spray paint has only been around since the very late 40's, early 50's. And no, it wasn't always in one neighborhood. Remember, Cholos are Mexican, a ton are migrant workers, therefore they travel. Seeing an east LA gang tag in the valley or west LA wasn't that crazy of a thing. But bottom line is that, YES, the trains is what catapulted(sp?) todays graffiti scene.

And just to clear the air, the NYC haters comment was just pointing out the obvious about Ny attitude. It's not just a graff thing, Nyer's feel like Ny is the center of the universe. I'm not even saying that as an insult and most wear that attitude as a badge of honor. While a few of you seem pretty open minded on here and stick to the facts, you still know what I'm talking about. If not, just read 10 minutes of Saster and you'll get it.:p
