They decided to close crush sydney because it was red hot, full of gtf and police,

people got arrested and then just gave the police their passwords and what not.

My visual art teacher was an administrator, it was a good site run by a local sydney writer.

APU 1, VANDALS 0

The Asset Protection Unit (APU),

part of the Customer Service team, scored another success this

week, arresting two vandals at Epping sidings.

The APU was established as a performance delivery initiative to protect rail assets. Its members are all Customer Service Officers. The team was conducting an operation at Epping sidings sitting off and waiting for vandals to show. Sure enough, a group of five vandals was spotted and the team moved in. Three of the vandals managed to get away, one of them ‘decamping so fast his shoes fell off’ (in the words of one of the officers).

“How fast do you have to run to leave your shoes behind?” One offender was arrested and handed over to police.

Around 40 cans of spray paint were confiscated along with a video camera showing the offenders committing various criminal acts, repeatedly turning to the camera and grinning (so you can see their faces nice and clear in close-up). (It’s handy when criminals film their crimes and then provide it to the investigating officer to ensure a successful prosecution.)

While the arrested offender was being interviewed by police, the APU team went back to Epping to see if any of the vandals would be dumb enough to try again.

“Sure enough, an offender appeared from the bushes and was quickly apprehended,” said Shane Parker, acting Field Operations Manager.

“The two offenders we caught were both from Sydney – and the police got a motel room key from one of them which we hope will yield more

evidence and more charges.” Congratulations to APU Officers involved.
