GLIK$
i loaded a bunch of new fonts into my control panel, same as always but theyre not displaying in Photoshop CS at all. on a PC, checked to see if truetype only was selected, its not (theyre true type fonts anyway) who wants to rescue these fonts?
johnny ballbags
theyre in your windows/fonts folder? i use a program called xfonter to scan through and preview and install fonts rather than having a shit ton of fonts in the font folder.... shit takes forever to load sometimes with too many installed fonts....
Seffiks
put the new fonts in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts and see if that works
Seffiks
you have to "install" the fonts, not just place them into a folder. If you are running windows XP go to the Control Panel. Double click the Fonts icon. Drag your font files into the Font window and it will Install the font files. Otherwise I believe you can go to File and Install New Font. If this still doesn't work then there might be something wrong with the font file.
johnny ballbags
you can just copy and paste them into C:\WINDOWS\Fonts and they should work too...

lord_casek
damn someone didnt get a chance to watch their favorite anime today and is all pissy. easy nerdboy i like the things you do for channel zero with the computer shit. haha. we deal with the most unusual bullshit all day, glik0. i know you were involved in some way in retail. you know what it's like. i think you do need a font manager. it would help avoid the problems with installing and not working. install in windows/fonts directory they should show in adobe. if that fails, go to c:\windows\fonts and find the individual fonts you just installed and click them one by one. close the windows after the preview comes up. then open adobe. GLIK$
the fonts in question dont open with a preview but all the other ones do, weird the fonts opened in preview before i moved them to the font folder.
