Seffiks Posted May 4, 2007 Share Posted May 4, 2007 similar issue this might be the fix The problem is that somehow, either you or some program, set Windows XP to "show only TrueType fonts in the programs" on your computer. Go to the Fonts Control Panel. Go to Tools=>Folder Options and click on the "TrueType Fonts" tab. You will probably fint that the box "show only TrueType fonts" is checked. UNcheck that box and click OK. The Type 1 fonts should then begin to show up in most if not all applications. (Some applications, such as recent versions of Visio and AutoCAD chose to ignore anything but TrueType fonts on their own volition.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
