as i said, there were a couple motherwells that were bordering on 'good' to me...maybe he has some real solid shit that google was not pulling up...i know google misses most of my favorite newman paintings.

 

i dont know architects by name, but i flip through a lot of architecture magazines. im down. we should actually organize this. each of us pick an artist and compile a bunch of work, then alternate weeks. sound good?

i know you said you liked a couple motherwell paintings that you saw, i have this great motherwell book of a buck of drawings and prints of his, you might really like it, or not. its called robert motherwell on paper. anyways, i would really like the crit deal, and each of us comming up with a artist a in its own formal thread would be great, i would really like to expand my very limited knowledge of artists.
