a word on BALTIMORE CITY streets:

 

A 6-year-old boy was shot after getting caught in crossfire Tuesday night.

 

The boy was taken to Johns Hopkins hospital after the shooting.

 

The incident took place in the 1900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

 

Police said the boy was shot in the ankle.

 

As of Tuesday night he was listed in good condition and was expected to make a full recovery.

 

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

 

That was just one instance of violence in Baltimore City Tuesday.

 

Baltimore police say two people were killed and eleven others were injured in a series of shootings and stabbings between late Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning.

 

Police say the first incident was a double shooting on East Fayette Street. One man was killed and another was wounded.

 

Meanwhile, a man was shot in the head and killed on East 21st Street in East Baltimore. And a woman was shot in the

stomach on Roland View Avenue. She is expected to recover.

 

In addition, four men were found shot along Mount Royal Avenue in two separate areas. One is in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the head and groin.

 

Police also reported a man was shot in the arm Tuesday night in the 300 block of Eutaw Street.

 

Officers say three people were stabbed in the 600 block of Water Street around 2 a.m. Wednesday. There is no word on the severity of their injuries.
