I've been skating palace for a minute cuz the steep concave gives me a higher ollie if i do it correctly

i think dwindle makes palace boards

and if any shoes would be on my list to skate, i would recommend anything by new balance, weirdly enough

I love steep concave, that's pretty much why I stick with DLX. I've been wanting to try out a double tail shape so I can have long nose and tail.

NB's team is so stacked and the shoes look amazing but yet again, never tried them. I'm one of those "stick to what you know" kinda skaters but I gotta get out that mindset.

they have no board feel and have a "air force 1"  nose, so flicks are so shitty

but then again, palace boards are steep as fuck so i end up ghost popping anyway, so it could be just me LMAO

LMAOOO, I can see that. They look like a beefy ass half cab, so I was interested. I need that boardfeel though! Been rocking Adidas but I want to get some Kyle Walkers again.

Never skated Palace either but have always been curious. Used to only skate Kayo Corp back in the day (DGK, Expedition 1) and nowadays, it's almost exclusively DLXSF (Real, Krooked, AH). I tried the FA boards and they're hit or miss for me. Some of them are like goddamn boats!

  3.

New FPS coming from the League Of Legends developers. Looking forward to this. Counter Strike X Overwatch vibes. I feel this has potential to go very big competitively.

Fuck yeah, I'd love to shake the hand of whoever is remaking all these old RE games into modern graphics/gameplay.  This is one example of improving upon something that was old/clunky without ruining it.

You nailed it. Such a sensitive thing to do. making it progress without ruining its legacy or going in for a cheap HD remaster cash grab. i feel the res remakes are what companies should look at as a blueprint for these kinds of projects

I def agree. Also more credit to them because they built their own engine - https://residentevil.fandom.com/wiki/RE_Engine

  5. @Kultsyoo! My bad, I ate after like two games and passed out.

Still trash lol. I haven’t picked up COD in at least 3 weeks. Been heavy on Apex but once I saw the BR mode dropping, I’m like I gotta brush up on my plays.

I’ll be on majority of the day since it’s freezing out.

  6. @Dirty_habiTAyyy man! I really appreciate that, for real!

Been out sick from work this entire week so I figured why not record and mix some clips. New Season, New Hero, Updated Map and a whole gang of patch notes dropped Tuesday 2/4 so I’m learning a bunch of it while taking advantage of the rest of the community trying to learn it too.

This is like my 5th “mixtape”. I’ve learned to slow down the edits and let the plays breathe a bit more( especially since IGTV dropped allowing 60+ second videos). Still have to find a blend of cool action-y plays with some somewhat tactical ish. Def helps having a squad you can play with. An issue I have to work around is I can’t use my headset to talk AND record game audio (+me) at the same so it’s one or the other. Either communicate with my team or record with Zero audio to my clips. Luckily Apex has a great Ping system that allows me to run without a mic.

I’d pick up BF5 just to practice and play with the 12oz Fam. I play COD every so often now but idk, game hasn’t really stuck w me. Waiting for their Season 2 to drop. I really like the mobility of shooters like Apex, Quake, Doom, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I love making plays and taking my time but sometimes these war sims don’t let you do much else, at least in my experience.

Anyway, thank you again man. I appreciate you taking the time to watch it and even give feedback. Hopefully others in YouTube land will do the same, that’s why I been putting the 12oz logos and even put the 12oz and 12ozcollective links in the video description.

  7. Copped the Atomos Ninja Inferno with the accessory kit, Sony NPF batteries, 1TB SSD, HDMI 2.0 cable and an articulating arm to mount it to my Panasonic GH5 rig.

Basically it's a 7in monitor (vs 3in GH5 screen) that would help me get my shots right with A LOT of focus/exposure assist tools. Also allows me record straight to a Solid State Drive instead of SD cards at a max output 4K 60p Apple Prores 422 10-bit.

Only got to play with it in my room for a bit last night but I am hype to put this thing to the test. Gonna try to grab some test shots of some skate shit this weekend if the weather permits.

  8. @KultsWord! Good times! I played like dog shit the last game but you held it down consistently.

Its def taking me time to adjust to this years game. I never really played or got into Battlefield series other than BF1 (+ war simulators) and this is very reminiscent to that. I guess I’m too used to arcade-y shooters like Apex, Quake, Halo, Destiny, etc. I’ll catch on tho!

  9. I had to initialize my system on Saturday as well.  Been having issues loading Special Ops, downloaded Pack 1 but Pack 2 says it’s not available at this time.

Otherwise,  game has been pretty fun. Def gonna take some time to adjust to.

    Lets hope V1.05 helps.

  10. I had similar crash/corrupted data issues with Red Dead so I def feel your pain. Amazon just delivered my copy at the crib so I'm itching to bounce from this office.

Hopefully I'll catch some of you gents on tonight. Add me on PSN - cruzxctrl or drop yours below.

I think I sent you a request a while back @Kults, I'll resend tonight  if anything.

  11. Was going through old drives last night and found this screen shot from 2014, Jeter’s last season.

First time being on any MLB field, happy it was home field in the Bronx.

Was shooting a congratulatory video that was going to be played at some gala later on in the week, I don’t remember exactly what or who it was for unfortunately.

Real cool dude btw. Energy was mad chill. Thinking back, this experience was pretty surreal.

p.s. - the FLINT collection is one of my fav 12oz runs

With sports photography the action moves too fast. Reason you often see sports photographers with several cameras is that they are manually focused to specific areas they're capturing. What you want to do is decide what crop you want and have a subject go and stand in that location. (mark it if you have to or use something like a mark in the road or manhole cover as a reference point. Start with an aperture setting that gives you enough depth of field to allow for some play, usually a couple feet at least (you can look up the depth of field for each f-stop in the manual or a PDF white paper for your lens online). Then from that set shutter speed and ultimately compensate with ISO to get the exposure you want. Once the action enters the frame you rapid fire the shutter. All will be in focus and from the captures, you can find one that captures the pose / action that looks best. That's basically how its done.

    Def agree with this.

To add to this - regarding your focusing issues - there should be a little dial by your Electronic View Finder.  It's called the Diopter Adjustment Control and it helps you adjust you EVF focus to accommodate your eyesight.

Also, maybe clean/wipe your camera sensor, front and back glass of the lens and even your EVF..

    Hope this helps. Peace!

  13. I copped the '92 retro Rage Rain Jacket when it dropped in a Large,  wish I would've done a Medium for certain 'fits. That "Retro" fit big as fuck and I'm a slim dude but I love to layer underneath and would rather have extra space than have the shit tight. Jacket stiff as fuck but will keep you dryer than a mug. A1 Shell for sure.

Copped the crewneck and hat too. Hat is a basic hat and the crewneck is A1 too. Warm as fuck, nice materials and I even like the pull cords on the bottom and the pocket on the back which I never use.

Does anyone have tips for washing bright colored, graphic heavy jackets without fading them? I have the SS14 Supreme globe jacket, which is mostly light blue and the sleeves and wrists are dingy as fuck after a lot of wear. I've followed instructions on the tag before but there's still grime in there.
