Regardless of how talented a fighter is/ was a year off between fights is a long time. Especially when the last 3 people he fought haven't been anywhere near the level of competition he's getting in Silva.

Vitor has only fought twice in like 3 years. Now he's going to fight ( arguably ) the best fighter in MMA. I don't see Vitor hanging with Silva in any area. Maybe he catches Anderson with something in the first 2minutes, but that's probably the only chance he has.

If he beats Pettis it should put him @ the 1 or 2 spot for the next title shot. I would love to see him fight Melvin Guillard

Casual fans like your self think the fight was boring because it was too technical for you to appreciate. GSP fought a perfect fight. I think GSP out struck him 130 to 30 or some shit. Koshcheck simply had no quit in him that night. The broken orbital bone is proof of that. If that Doctor wasn't worried the crowd would lynch him, he would have stopped the fight at the end of the 3rd.
