actually dude, i'm almost positive there are a bunch of stores that opt not to have their gates and building cleaned. i say this because in certain places downtown, and all over, mad gates get the buff, how ever sometimes you can see a few that are still rocked from 5 - 10 years ago. the only explanation is that these owners opted not to have their gates buffed by the city (if you remember they passed a law recently that would have the city clean up graff that store owners didn't)
