avoid all that negative space, and go more simple on your letters. also, try not to make one part of the letter pointy, and one part bubbly. makes it look unbalanced. keep practicing, ive seen way worse.

^ dont do extremely block-ish letters like that, and dont have one side of your letter sticking up above the other side ... keep practicing.

^ these ones definitely took hours ... but more simpler ones are not extremely complicated ... make multiple layers in photoshop, each with a different contrast level or however u wanna do it, print em out individually, spray paint em accordingly... im no pro, they could have some super awesome way of doing it i dont know about ... but that seems like best answer to me...
