That shit existed but mostly were kids that just started skating . There was a huge influx of kids skating from 1993-1994 and on . Yeah I had friends that got caught up in what you described , it was pretty funny . People like me were completely alienated in those years because of what we rode , wore , etc...I'll say it 1 last time , I went with what worked for me . Santa Cruz , Black Label deck usually 9" or bigger , Independent 215mm or 169mm trucks , and wheels no smaller than 56-58mm , and this formula has carried me through 2 decades of skating . I finally learned 360 flips as late as 2000 . I'm not much of a technical guy but it's nice to pick up things every now and then . Boneless Sweepers Disasters Till' I Die :cool:

Yeah that's it . Yeah you pegged me . I never hated on street skating , What I do hate are the thousands of people that skate like clones that skate street . Pretty much all I ever have known was concrete in one way shape or form . I started riding a 10" board when I was 10 and 20 years later I haven't really changed much . I do skate a 8.5" board when I skate downtown or maybe Chenga World Skatepark . I have probably close to 50 decks in some state of a setup . Pressure flips , no sorry when I saw skateboarding was heading towards a shitty rap-driven series of fads , I held my ground and did what I knew . 38mm wheels what a fucking joke , I haven't ridden anything smaller than 56mm period . I have maybe 2-3 old 8mm casasettes of me skating . I think one of them was me in San Francisco bombing hills and skating around Chinatown . When we moved last November they got thrown into a box . I'll dig around when I can get some time .
