  1. Went for a pub crawl in Sheffield today in a place called Kelham island. Never been to this part of the city before but plenty of boozers within a 5 minute walk.

They used to sell Laine at a pub near me and it was always great. Enjoy!

  4. New owners taking over an old boozer, about 2 minutes from where I work, and starting off on a high. Kernel tap takeover. These guys only sell you cask beer if they’ve visited your establishment and you know what you’re doing. Some might say it’s pretentious, but I see it as quality control

    Just finished reading this.

dope book about a writer who really sparked a slight interest in unusual graff for me!

For Catalogue of Unsolved Crimes, graffiti legend MELLIE recollects dozens of ridiculous, reckless, totally illegal and sometimes hard to believe adventures in Europe’s train yards and metro tunnels. From his early days in hometown Utrecht at the dawn of the 1990s, MELLIE’s spray-painted name drove transportation companies to madness for the better part of a decade. The name of his MSN crew explained the modus operandi succinctly: Maniakken Stoppen Nooit (‘maniacs never stop’). Catalogue of Unsolved Crimes, containing many contemporary photographs of MELLIE’s pieces, is an intimate memoir about bombing, racking, court cases, drugs & alcohol, friendships, travelling, toys, beef, police chases, fame, and anything in between and serves up vicarious thrills a mile a minute.

Literally just finished reading this. First book in a while I’ve managed to get through in a couple of days. Decent stories about painting and having a load of fun

All of the pint glasses there look like this or did you bring your own in?

There’s a brewery in Newcastle called anarchy brewing (never encountered them before) and these are the branded glasses
