1. word to that^, but i think the G's ok.... you've settled a style which is good tho.
2. yea freak i like that alot. but withe the F, make sure you connect the lower and upper bars of it. with them behind the original "stem" of the letter it looks a bit wack. but the whoe thing when perfected will look good. x:D
3. nah man, we just need people to stop saying things like, " "hay guyz i wus wunderin' if i could write VCXWZ its the best letter combo out there and no one else writes i don't think?!" stop the post whoring, get to posting sketches and positive and negative crits, no e-beefing either. thats gay.

back to basics

sorry i forgto to mention. caps you get fats, mediums, softs, skinnys and super skinnys. fats- up to about 10 fingers wide, good for throwie fills or big tags medims- i use these for piece fill ins as they are small enough to be accurate and fat enough to cover a good area softs- low pressure skinnies- a thing line, you can usually hold these about and inche from the surface with out it dripping, about 2-3 fingers thick. super skinnies- for extreme detail, 1 finger thick, use for piece detail. low pressure. INKS- put them into flow pens or big mops, can be thinned for extra drips. dont use the shit in "paint markers" they dont stain,, but the marker it self can be emptied and used to put ink in. make sure you get a good width of pen. 1inch is usually the standard. corio-good very staining but can be buffed, drippy. nero d'inferno- difficult to buff, messy, drippy. On the run- very staining, hard to buff but not too drippy. i'd recomend those. i dont use stickers, fucks sake, use a marker and tag shit, no one usualy cares, i live out of the city so have to do most of my city tagging during the day, no one cares. the most you might get is a "what the fack are you doing you piece of shit" or similar, but i think stickers are pointless. and for the love of god dont get hyped about putting a sticker up, literally you can take your time, its hardly an offnse. and for gods sake dont tag your shool, if you still go to one.

Hello Flik, yes i have some advice. if you live in a city, great, tag your block/ area to hell, then the surrounding blocks. then make friends with writers in your area by going down to the legal wal once or twice. dont be cocky and always respect them. get them o helop you out with throw styles and piece styles. dub (throwup) your whole block and surrounding blocks. then go down to the legal wall again and do about 5 pieces over the course of a few months. so people know you're serious. you ARE a toy until experienced people ask to paint with you, which will be at least 2 years. then once that has happened, go and paint trains. find the yard, and i would recomend going with someone, alone is risky. i havent painted them, but i've heard. i've been painting for almost a yea now, and i am still hated in my area as a toy, despite there being people who are worse than me with more respect. i think i've had it the hard way, so for you make sure you dont ask cocky questions or say arrogant things either. thats the main ppoint. also, dont tag over peoples stuff, until you are sure you could burn them. dont tag productions, and get used to people not beliving you if you say you didnt tag their productions, even if you really havent, that happened to me. anyway enjoy and see you in a year when you are good. x
13. Stop taking it out on SOW, yea he's toy as toys get but cut him some slack guys, he's obviously JUST started. but yea sow as i say, get something good going, paint it on a piece of wood that you can buy from a hardware store, then make sure you get ok, then come back. Sow, here's what to do. Before you post pics on 12oz again; get standard letter shapes, dont go to complicated. tag your block and surrounding blocks until you are def known in your area, move onto throws but keep em simple. then go down to a Legal wall and spend time on a piece, but again, make sure you get letter shapes ok. it might be a good idea to know someone who does graff that is much better than you to help you out. cos you aren getting any love on 12oz. once you got a few good legal pieces, go city/town-wide and make sure you're known by all the writers. Then post pics on 12 oz. it sounds like alot but to become good at graff, or respected i a scene it takes at least a year-2 years. then you cn paint panels and then go to "metal heads". then people wont hate you. love jels
14. but that raks one is toy. having said that, i've never painted steel so i wouldnt know how hard it is./
15. who's the jizz mop that thought the banksy isreal separation wall was legal. what an ass clown, of course it wasnt a commision, if you buy his latest book, waal and piece, you can read about it. do that before you say, oh yea its on a prison and its legal. fucks sake
16. Sow, not being a dick or anything but dont post on the toy thread until you are sure you've got something looking good. its just so you wont get beaten down by the other writers/ bite other artists until you can come up with original letter styles, then come on 12oz and show poeple what you got. at the moment you worse than toy.
17. mate, if you dont like people like SOW, get off the toy thread. go on with your hardcore writers, which you evidently are ..:o
18. To SOW, if you're being ID-ed you're not going to graff shops, you buying car paint or summin am i right? if you go to a graff/ street wear shop in your town they def wont ask for your ID. alternitavely get your mum or dad to get it, just tell em you graff but only do it legally. they'll belive you, its fine. mine now i do it illegally too but i dont think they acre much.
19. siren writes in bristol now....along with epok http://www.nine-high.co.uk go to graff, theres loads of siren stuff there.
20. I know this should be in Brick slayers, but there's no Oxford, UK thread. anyway its the design frm my last sketch on this thread. Jels OFL
21. sonik is probs the most used tag ever! but yea if you just started its not bad. when i started almoast a year ago, i bit other writer all the time, and now i can just think up stuff on my own and come up with fairly fresh styles. i reckomend you do that. lok at other writers who write sonik (there are a whole lot of them!) and just see their dubs, and recylce and just eventually add in your own stuff and then eventually you'll come up with a style which is more original and less generic (like yours atm)
22. that F style has been use before, not the secong "branch" the the over all shape has, by oxford writer flyz.
