  1. you and i are both sutbborn DAO my logic believes with slightly bigger wheels, you'll have more snap, [bigger tricks] and smaller wheels will give you quicker snap. [techier tricks] same goes for size of boards. skinner boards will flip easier [less weight] but harder to land back on. wider boards will be easier to control [more area to land on, more weight to slow down its rotations] if youre rolling on bigger setups, you can do bigger tricks, just look at the mega ramp setups. their boards are twice as big, cause theres no way they would be able to land back on their boards if they were riding 39s and 7.5" wide boards or any hesh dude that skates transitions, or skates fast and big, vs the techier skaters who do flip in flip out shit. reese forbes vs rob welsh. both about the same size, but totally different styles of skating. reese skates wide boards and bigger wheels, and welsh skates like 49s with 7.5" boards. but whatevs, you believe what you want to believe, ill believe what i want to believe.
  2. its the smolik era, resurrected. ahhhh!!!! some combos get to be too much, but some of that shit is just too crazy to hate on tho.
  3. Dill is one of my top rankers too. hes pretty creative when it comes to his parts. his Trilogy part was dope but im not feeling his whole shants, and leggings get up lately.
  4. ease up. My statement was in general, not specific to Jlee's time. but im going to debate your fact. skating on 39mm wheels, and flat boards is going to have adverse effects to getting higher tricks, than skating 55s and a concaved board. sure you can get up to the same ledge witht he 39mm wheels, but its going to be a lot easier with the bigger wheels. im not talking 60mm+ or some hippy shit like that either. also, like i said, it had to do with trends, not everyone was trying to skate ledges and rails, most were still filming parts skating red curbs in the 90s. [the early 90s, when smalls wheels were popular]
  5. if its anyone in bag of suck, its prob louie or the kid.
  6. a lot of that has to do with trends, and technology. small wheels, and flat concaveless boards of the 90s prevented pop, especially since people were just skating curbs, so there was no need to have lofty tricks.
  7. serious, you cant hate on old shit, steez is steez. and jason lee had them steady, even on huge boards. heres my list of current kids, that werent around then... anthony williams evan hernandez nick trepasso bobby worrest mike mo stefan janoski
  8. dental floss, string or shoe strings, looped through two of the hardware bolt holes, then 1 screw in the wall, and hang from the string. thats how ive done it.
  9. and even a couple years before that, they were still good. quick list of the top 360 flips from people 10 years ago, or older. Jason Lee Jovantae Turner Drake Jones Guy Mariano [switch] Sean Sheffey [switch] Josh Kalis Ricky Oyola Pat Chanita Mike York Mike Carroll Kris Markovich
  10. hassler got dope style. and its funny how a wigged out kid like dan murphy can roll up to the pj's and not get the jux.
  11. also, bryan herman probably has the nicest nollie inward ever. caught mad crooked in the air...
  12. hes fucking dope. husky hesh dude, but with tech tricks.
  13. the movie almost reminded me of a teenier ghost world. same kind of character duo. slightly nerdier chick thats cynical with hotter friend. other than that, good date movie, and overall just rad.
  14. gabriel rodriguez writes/wrote AYA. you see it in the opener for lakai. the wall that koston goes thru. guy writes/wrote gamo. hes got some mall-shoe-color-way with his tag all over printed on it. but basically all the chocolate/world/menace dudes wrote. i remember reading some interview in big bro or tws, about how they got pulled over, and had a trunk full of paint. but they started to do tricks for the cops and it distracted them from noticing that theyd just been painting. i think it was the choc dudes.
  15. kids pretty good. reminds me of AVE but with josh kaspers hair cut. dude needs to lose the headband tho.
  16. haha seriously. action sports shoes?! i guess its going to compete with nike 6.0 wakeboarders getting shoe deals, thats whats up. i loved skating in axions back in the day. the "official" shoes were fucking awesome. i had the reemos, guys and the ginos.
  17. tampa am is a better time anyway. ybor city is such a shit hole, and all the clubs are 18+ so there are way more hungry girls. haha but watch out for this dude. "the senator"
  18. the sweet and tender hooligans.- the smiths cover band.
  19. checked this place out when i was home for the holidays. its an airplane hangar in far rockaway sorry for the arty shots. theres a row boat in the middle of the room for some reason the only graffiti inside the floor was covered in moss the outside
  20. skating slow is awesome! EON, reemo is barely back in the game. i think he skates for black sheep shoes, and some other random companies.
  21. daewon is the exception to any rule.
  22. i wish tech kids skated faster. hes barely rolling away on some of his tricks. but dude can nollie flip out of anything. i think there were like 10 tricks where he nollie flips out.
  23. youre pretty overdressed for an indoor park. id be sweatin balls with a hoody and helmet on.
