  1. btw, here's the update on my CB. still gotta wire up the bike, paint the grinded down spots, finish off the tail section, and chop down and wrap the exhaust. Hopefully have it running by the weekend.
  2. Damn, all these nice yamaha finds. XS650s and SR500s are awesome. Heres my favorite SR.
  3. After i hit him up for you, he said he already had it sold to a friend of his whos kinda just paying as he goes. So don't really know.
  4. He painted that tank on the cb750 about a month ago. It's for sale, so if any of you are interested, its located in So Cal. Hit me up.
  5. seeks, you got a photo of what the bike looks like? side note, im finally making progress again with the bike after a month of nothing. finished welding up the tabs for the fender, and batter box, plus components. drew out the seat pan, but need to cut that out and send to get upholstered. clean up all the wiring, get my exhaust finished, then put the bike back together and ride it.
  6. park the back of the truck at the bottom of the driveway and have people stand in the bed. all of that will lower that back end to get the bike in easier.
  7. Im just joking man. I have a cb450. It can go 80+ but all the bolts feel like theyre going to come loose and my wheels feel like theyre going to fly off.
  8. cafe's can be annoying only because it can be so snooty as far as modifications go. it seems to be about period correct parts and that can turn into a expensive habit. brat, you could do whatever you want, and if youre into it, its cool. in the end, fuck it, whatever riding style you like most.
  9. bummed im going to miss born free. last years was awesome. but im going to try to make everything else. especially the hippy killer show.
  10. yeah yeah. a couple of my photos surfaced on there before too.
  11. Some nice studio shots of bikes and their owners. http://www.hornbeckerphoto.com/onemotorcycle/ Jon Humphries and his pan built by Max Schaaf
  12. cause once you have a moped for a month, youre going to get rid of it for a bike. theres no longevity in it, in my opinion. and youll look like my friends little brother after spilling on one.
  13. well looks like that bike is on the hot rod tip. the front looks smaller, like a 19. usually no bikes i have seen run anything bigger than 18 in the rear. most choppers run 16s in the rear and go super skinny and large in the front, like a 21. i had 18 rear and 19 front, stock, but to mimic the dual chunky tires, i have a 18 front now. i wish i could do dual 16s on a jap bike like this...
  14. i love those NFK dudes. all their bikes seem to be so unsafe and rad. i hate that their photos are always at night tho. can never get a good look at the bikes.
  15. haha yeah yeah. the cycle zombies are fam. kyle lightner is a awesome photographer.
  16. haha "you mad cause im stylin on you." i think the 750 is a '72. here are a few more from the trip. all together, there were 4 hondas, 2 yamahas, 1 triumph, 4 harleys, and 1 bmw. and 3 in the chase van. not really sure how many guns were brought, but this was my favorite. it was my friends grand fathers 6 shooter. smif and wessun. 32 long. we also shot skeets. skeet skeet skeet.
  17. the bike behind mine is a yam xs650. this is the xs650's brothers bike. cb 750
  18. still got a few more things to do, but its getting there.
  19. Im a NYC transplant in So Cal. Motorcycle messengers in LA are the equivalent of the fixed ear messengers in nyc. Id probably split lanes on a crotch rocket as well if i had to commute in LA freeway traffic everyday. BTW, it's legal to split lanes in Cali.
