  1. here are some of my latest shots. i feel pretty "meh" about them. all crits welcome.
  2. ive always thought mark jenkins stuff was pretty rad. more... http://www.xmarkjenkinsx.com/
  3. i just recently started shooting color, and ive only got about 20 rolls or so under my belt. for some reason, im just not feeling my color shots as much as my black and whites. anyone care to offer any criticism? some newerish ones:
  4. aaaaand, here is some more macro action from a recent hiking trip:
  5. i shoot with a minolta maxxum 7000. yeah, i know its old, but its what i got. ive got the stock 50mm lens and also a 28-85mm(im pretty sure thats what it is)/macro lens i usually shoot with kodak ultra color film unless im feeling adventurous. aaaaand i will adjust contrast and sometimes, although i try not to, saturation in photoshop. but thats all i will touch with photoshop. why, can you tell they were shot with a crappy camera?
  6. really like the feel of this. what kind of film/ camera did you use? photoshopping?
  7. laziness. i scan like 6 at a time, so 3 of them get scanned without the bottom of the polaroid anyway...so i just cropped it on all of them.
  8. first time posting photos... i sorta just started shooting with color, and im just starting to get used to it now. these are some of the first few that i have liked okay. the first one was cross processed. let me know what you think. and some polaroids from an adventure too for good measure.
  9. lots and lots of really great stuff here. inspirational for sure. before i get some photos up, ive got a few questions. how do you film guys (35mm) transfer your stuff into the digital realm? ive got a pretty cheap scanner, but it does have a film attachment that will let you scan film. am i better off scanning the film, or just getting the film developed down at cvs and having them put it on a cd? (the people at my local cvs are clueless and only charge me a couple bucks to have like 4 rolls developed and put on a cd). at the current moment, i unfortunately do not have access to a darkroom. what do you guys do in this situation? i know some places, like best buy, are pretty shitty when it come to color correctness and what not? and tips on where to get my film developed? thanks in advance, and sorry for the lack of photos, but ill get some up soon.
