  5. com·mu·nism Pronunciation: 'käm-y&-"ni-z&m Function: noun Etymology: French communisme, from commun common 1 a : a theory advocating elimination of private property b : a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed 2 capitalized a : a doctrine based on revolutionary Marxian socialism and Marxism-Leninism that was the official ideology of the U.S.S.R. b : a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production c : a final stage of society in Marxist theory in which the state has withered away and economic goods are distributed equitably d : communist systems collectively ............................................ right... that looks like the absence of a governing body to me.
  6. Sure thing, Stereotype (you dropped your badge). Except you missed the essence of my comment... The Absence of A Governing Body. That, my ignorant friend is the heart of anarchy... that’s right, in an anarchical society we will have no need for over-seers... I mean, officers... because existence seeks balance... chaos seeks equilibrium, humanity seeks peace. And without our governing body telling us to kill this nation and help that one, we will evolve naturally into a global utopia. (I heard we were in heaven right now, we just need to realize it).
  7. i dunno, maybe if left to our selves, we would find what true harmony as a society is. with no one to fight for food (because we would take care of eachother), and no one to shoot for money (because money would have no value), and no worrys about medical coverage (because again, with no leaders saying we need to exploite every weakness of the lower classes, and no monitary system, and everyone doing their parts, why would we need to charge our brothers and sisters for their well-being?), we would actually live the way nature intends us to... as beings. hard to imagine, i know.
  8. Its a realistic response to a situation that could be dangerous for innocent people.... right. thats how it works... they create a valid fear and exploite it. ie: The Patriot Act

  10. The Symbiotic Man: A New Understanding of the Organization of Life and a Vision of the Future by Joel de Rosnay New York: McGraw-Hill, 2000 Within the past four decades a powerful scientific methodology has emerged that promises to dramatically recast our concept of nature and mankind's place in it. Unlike the traditional analytical approach which breaks nature down into smaller and smaller constituent parts, chaos theory, the theory of self-organization, and other so-called sciences of complexity, explore dynamic systems in their totalities, so as to lay bare the great constants governing their emergence, organization, and evolution. Using the tools of complexity, researchers recently have made breakthroughs in the understanding of such diverse phenomena as weather systems, economics, and even the most daunting scientific mystery of all, the mind as an emergent property of the brain's dense neuronal mazes. Organic chemist, computer scientist, visionary, Joel de Rosnay has been at the forefront of the complexity movement for nearly thirty years. In this elegant and daring book, he builds on his early pioneering work in the application of the sciences of complexity to the study of living systems to persuasively argue that we are at the verge of a profound evolutionary leap, as monumental in its implications for life on Earth as was the emergence of multicellular organisms. Just as importantly he explains how, in the face of sweeping changes to the very fabric of organic existence, we must conduct ourselves politically, economically, and ethically, in the years ahead, if we hope to vouchsafe our survival as species in the third millennium. In a grand synthesis that unites modern cybernetics with the sciences of complexity, de Rosnay demonstrates that the next stage in the natural progression from lower to higher levels of organization -- cell into organism, organism to population, population into ecosystem -- is the cybiont, a planetary superorganism made up of all humans, machines, organism, networks, and nations. But, as intelligent beings, endowed with free will, human beings are, uniquely, more than just "cells," in the superorganism which is just coming into being. As de Rosnay is prompt to point out, we are also its facilitators, and, as such, we have it in our power to decide what form the cybiont takes, nurturing partner, or Frankenstein's monster inimical to all human life. Dr. de Rosnay leaves little doubt that our future survival depends upon whether or not we can, at last, discard our parasitical, egocentric stance toward the environment and to learn to live in symbiosis with it. He also makes a strong case for achieving the transition from adversary to partner through eco-centered public policy and the judicious use of emerging technologies such as nanotechnology, bioelectronics, molecular electronics or bioinformatics. The international bestseller, now available in English for the first time, The Symbiotic Man is a fascinating exploration of the organization of life and a techno-environmental manifesto for the new millennium. Joel de Rosnay, is Director of Strategy for the Science and Industry Complex in La Villette, Paris. Prior to joining this institution, he was Director of Research Applications at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, from 1975 to 1985. Dr. de Rosnay received his doctorate in organic chemistry from the Pasteur Institute in 1965 and worked as a research associate in biology and computer graphics at MIT. He also served as Scientific Attache with the French Embassy in the U.S. and Scientific Director of the European Enterprises Development Company, a venture capital group specializing in the finance and launch of technological companies. 18. and they feed that desire by promoting materialism and vanity. the american dream used to be to escape oppression and live in semi-peacefull commune with life in any way one chooses... but for some reason the politricktions would rather us fight and kill for material gain.
  19. alright... so we do not live in russia... america has NEVER been comparable to what is was like to live in russia. in america we have been climated to a certain type of treatment from our government. uncle sam would not start "erasing" people just for speaking their minds, because if they did, (insert catch phrase here) REVOLUTION!!! instead, they will keep quiet behind the scenes and slowly but surely manipulate the constitution and the bill of rights by amending this and adding that (ie: the patriot act (which i did not read in its entirety, but from what i have read and understand, can be abused easily, which is pretty fucking scary considering our forefathers designed these documents to be straight forward safe-guards of our personal freedoms and basic rights to govern ourselves as manifested through a democracy). but america is so passive to these changes because we have grown so used to our cushy lives as americans... the majority of us get three meals a day and a warm bed to sleep in... we feel special because we were born into a privileged country, and we are under the impression that our government has our best interests in mind... and therefore we dont question what our government does or our governments agenda. and, if you must know... their agenda is to make more money... by exployting the american dream... while americanse never see the real american dream... and dont realize it in either case. and fyi: immortal technique can fuck a goat while standing in the middle of a pentagram for all i care... im not down for promoting hate, violence and anger... just being aware of ones sorroundings.
  20. You must be retarded. Quoted post [/b] :haha: im tellin you son.... a cop could cap a graf head and these kids would say "he shouldnt have been painting..." or "can you blame the cop... i mean.. look at the situation" "i guess you gotta sleep before you be awake" -gfe
  21. i allways think about it like this.... if we were left to our own, do you think we, as a unified race of earth-dwellers, would choose to fight and kill eachother??? maybe... but only if "he" started it. *cough*cough*
