my roommates have had their exes and some guys they've met just to visit the house. they haven't stayed for long.
First it bothered me a bit, but now i think it's OK...its their apartment and they can have guests.
I don't think they'd bring guys there just to sit around and act like dicks on purpose... It's THEIR friends (part of their public image, u know ) and I'm sure if the art girls have any self respect, they should be able to keep their guests in order. I'm sure you can talk about this beforehand as you move in with them.
Then again I dont think my roommates have any long-term boyfriend relationships, I guess I've been lucky for not having extra-people hang around too much. If their boyfriends eat my food, I tell them to stop.
and if they stay for a week, they can start paying some of the rent and bills too. common sense. there's a difference between hanging around and being a parasite

^poor guys. RIP....but where are their rifles?

I live with two girls. If you're a reasonable, diplomatic guy and the girls are mentally stable, it should be cool...
I've had alot of fun with my roommates, lots of parties. you just have to forget about
A. decorating the house the way you like it
C. making a mess all over the place
D. being a proud chauvinist
other points and tips:
-decisions are easier with 3 people, 5 peeps can't agree on anything.
for example throwing parties with people who have the same school schedule is easier.
maintaining the fridge order, etc. it only takes one of the 5 ppl to slack off w/ dishes and eat everyones food and it's a living hell
-getting the whole rent paid in time is easier with 2 people
-more time to use the bathroom in the morning w/ 2 ppl
I also strongly suggest not getting too excited about having titties bouncing around the apartment. the fact they have boyfriends & that you seem to be not intrested in the girls in that sense, to me it sounds like a good thing and a matter of keeping the apartment peaceful/drama free.
everything depends on human personalities and who you get along with. If you already think you can't stand someone of the 5 peeps, i'd forget it if I was you.

I really fucking dig the sea, horizon, big tankers, containerships and approching clouds. I don't know if it's a hurricane or what, but the picture looks real to me, and here's the text from snopes that doesn't say it's actually "fake" but just used in wrong context.
Origins: Meteorologists (including Dr. Steve Lyons, the Weather Channel's hurricane expert) agree that the photos displayed above are not pictures of any hurricane at all, much less Hurricane Isabel, which struck the eastern United States in September 2003 — they depict shelf clouds or wall clouds typically associated with severe thunderstorms and tornadoes rather than hurricanes, and the water in the first picture appears too smooth for the area of an approaching hurricane. (Even if these images did depict the approach of a hurricane, they're too old to be photographs of Hurricane Isabel — these same pictures were circulating as photographs of Hurricane Claudette back in July 2003 and of Cyclone Indigo in April 2003.)Some believe the photographs to have been taken in the midwestern U.S. or Great Lakes region, although at least one source identifies the first image as being a picture of Tropical Cyclone Graham, which hit northwest Australia in February 2003.
the awesomeness of the first picture has been restored !!
edit: pics didnt work
