  1. ving try mixing acrylic paint with some break fluid and maybe some rubbing alcohol to thin it down, instead of water. you can get rubbing alcohol and break fluid at the walgreens, or rack it if you're too poor for that. hell there's a dollar store near me with both, and some off brand kiwi shoe scuff mops too. you could rack there mad easy, but i usually give em the dollar to support their little shop. anyway, i've done that one time with some pretty ass purple acrylic, shit was nice. i hit up some bus stops and shit, i've seen one that got buffed and there's a good ghost print. also some metal beams under bridges and overpasses and shit, it's still standing.
  2. yeah i agre with you rubbish. the search on the forum does not work well, especially searching within a thread. no one wants to sit down and look through 40 plus pages of posts when they can jsut re ask it for free. condensing it down would be good for sure, getting rid of random crap and all, and moving all the amrker mod shit to the makrer mod thred, that's my two cents i say go for it. nice thread by the way, my favorite on here.
  3. nevermind i got them suckers off right after i posted that, had to get some gloves on and get a good grip. haha hat was too easy, wasted ass post.
  4. i just got two mini otr htb's (.170) in the mail, and anyway i'm wondering how the fuck do yuo refill these things? i've pulled and twisted at every end. Do you have to injec it through the valve or wth do you do?
  5. sounds like it might eat it's way through your marker or mop...
  6. yayyy finally got ym garvey violet and my pilot blck in the mial today. i'm gonna try this mix out tomorrow: garvey violet xt-70 bit of otr htb black pilot black pink highlighter dot 3 i'l see if it works, hopin to get a kind of pink shine with the highlighter, might be worthless.
  7. no for real a little bit of fecal matter mixed with some dot 3 and some paint thinner is THE SHIT. Mad drips, and if the dot 3 and thinner take the smell right away.
  8. preciate the help a bunch. 'nother quick question, is mixing ink/paint a bad idea? or ink with krink even? (i know the first post on here said not to mix bucket pait and ink, but i cam across some recpe somewhere that suggested it.) anywya thanks tons for the help, htis is by far the most helpful thread i've come across, nice job rubbish. oh yeah also, apparently the kiwi sho polish is shit, is it worth leaving int he mix or should i jsut dump it? and what for the leather dye? thanks again, i'd like to experiment more on ym own but i'm broke. keep keepin it real peace haha one more question, any difference in omega or pilot ink? thatslife.org carries both, but only purple with omega, and i'd prefer purple over black, but more interested in staining power. which brand do you guys suggest?
  9. thanks arcel. it's my first mop to make, first time to try any kind of ink recipe, found that one on bboy.org, anyway yeah i'm not really interested in paint, just odn't too much like it and it seems to carry a hefty tax. i'll get to trying some marsh or pilot in it. any other easily available ingredients yuo know off to add permanency or a more filled, opaque look? i guess if paints the best way to go about it i'll break down.
  10. just a quick question, didn't wanna read the whole thread lookin for an answer. i just made a couple kiwi mops, for the ink i put one bottle kiwi scuff (black), one bottle kiwi leather dye (black), emptied a couple yellow/green highlighter ink tubes, and put a pretty light splash of brake fluid (dot3). mixed the hsit up, put em back in the bottles, work great. one i took the ink stopper thing out for drippy messy shit, definitely does the trick, the other i left it in for cleaer shit, anyway wanted to know what i could add to make it more opaque and a bit less runny. thinking prolly some marh or pilot, got a limited budget and ride to the store, just would like a suggestoin for i waste money. preciate the help before hand, nice thread.
