  1. Hopefully this Photo is up to your standards. Its a photo of some dirt, a rock, and a footprint on it. My camera accidently went off. Hopefully its Deep enough for you guys.Bunch of winers.

i kind of wish the footprint was a little more prominent in the photo...;)

its a graffiti forum, of course there are going to be a shit-ton of train pictures on here. especially since tracks produce some of the best repetition you will find anywhere. of course some people need to try a bit harder with their flicks and not post the same shit as everyone else does. but train flicks are still dope imo.

  2. yeah man, leaves in the living room is an awesome shot

and deacaying. JUST got the couch print. looks amazing.

don't know whats going on with the post office.

awesome! glad you finally got it. post office has always been a pain in my ass, not sure why.

  3. okay guys so i have a nikon d40. I just tried putting on a Tokina 70-210mm, and it didn't fit. i dont know too much about the lens, my step mother gave it to me cuz she got tricked into buying it years ago. its outfitted for canon's autofocus.

can i put this lens on? do i need to get an adapter of sorts? sorry if this is a newb question, ive never really expanded equipment wise.

You can't fit canon-mount lenses onto a nikon camera. And i'm pretty sure they don't make canon-nikon adaptors. sorry : /

  4. ok so i just downloaded bit torrent...how the fuck do i use this haha. i've already downloaded the file but now i dont know how to open it up. can anyone help out?

for the post above, bring a flash for sure. if they are just portraits in club lighting, it will be an enormous help. either that or a much faster lens than the 18-55 (assuming it is a 4.5?)

white balance your going to have to experiment with, as every concert/club lighting is different. same with shutter speed. as for fstop, as open as possible.

  5. damn, i wish i did too.

shooting digital black and whites is just not the same.

when i used to work for my schools (shitty) darkroom and newspaper, i would get free supplies/film but i havent been able to use it since. developing good black and white has just gotten too expensive.

    some more.

The field shot is more solid than the others.

Decaying, those are great portraits. I wish you had the ability to use 4x5 and 8x10 view cameras. They would be perfect for that.

  6. more dramatic angles. a less distracting background. longer lens?

tennis is a bit boring to photograph though imo. and the second one looks nice but that blond in the white messed up the repetition a bit. what kind of film are you using?

  7. geez, 50+hour weeks really suck for taking pictures. on the plus side, ive been doing some projects for my job (city worker) and now i am officially the event/misc photographer for the city haha.

oh and i just had my third gallery opening this last weekend. it went way better than i expected...sold most of the prints so i now have money for more frames :)

some random stuff i just found on the computer from about 2 weeks ago.
