My favorite cartoon ever. I remember when I first watched it as a little kid I almost changed it immediately cause it looked boring as fuck, then proceeded to have my mind blown. Time and learning about art and design has only increased the appreciation.
KOH, remember on that thread where we were discussing old vs. new animation, you posted a still from a classic cartoon that had these three dudes following a girl with an umbrella, who appeared to have no feet. What was the name of that cartooon, I would kill to see it again. I can't remember most of it, except one big wide shot where the three dudes are hopping from hiding place to hiding place, going "NO NO, OVER HERE!". All I know is that it was awesome.

When I was like three years old a Lifesaver got stuck in my throat. I almost choked to death but the whole in the center let me breathe enough air until the paramedics could get it out.
I used a lifesaver to it's exact purpose!!!! Beat that fuckfacers.

Eh, I mean... I don't condone this, but I will say, I have tattoos on my hands and neck and I don't really care. For one, when you make decisions to do things like this to yourself you have to expect people to sometimes not like it. You also have to expect you will compromise the amount of opportunities available to you because sometimes the people who are in control of said opportunities are infact the same people who you are turning off. It's fine. The real problem is the people themselves and why they are so upset about your personal life choices, but you have to expect this kind of thing.

i liked the diet pepsi jesus one. its hardly a new idea, but atleast they took the time to construct it, which i appreciate.
i also liked the one with the hanging person.

Something you do in your high school art class is just a painting. Something that has historical signifigance, that has influenced countless people over a long period of time and has become part of the collective consciousness of the world isn't "just a painting" no matter how unimpressed you want to sound.
And I don't even like Monet.
