  1. your links dont work. might want to fix those.
  2. it has to be a php file or it wont get parsed. rename your main document so it's .php instead of .html and rename your include file as myfile.php keep in mind that the code in myfile.php will need the correct syntax or it'll get parsed incorrectly and most likely show up blank on the main page. post it here and i'll write the code for you if i'm around.
  3. easiest way to do it is to change all the extensions of your pages to .php and then use a require statement to include a seperate file with all the links. then you'd only need to worry about editing a single file when editing links. pretty easy if you know basic php.
  4. i thought about doing a preorder type setup, but i think it would be too complicated to manage. plus it takes all the fun of hunting down copies, so i'm not sure this is gonna happen. that said, please don't PM me asking if we can work out a side deal for one of the first 500. if you stay alert, i'm sure you'll hear about when they'll be dropping and where. if you dead set on getting one of those, i'd probably bookmark http://www.akanyc.com and check it daily cause there probably wont be a whole lot of advance notice. book will be at the printers the week after next, and should be in hand by may. after that it can be any day...
  5. since so few people have actually been able to score copies of 12oz, or are too young to remember them, we'd been discussing maybe republshing some of the better parts of past issues along with all the accompanying photos that we never had room to print. ultimately, whatever we do will probably be a reflection of where are heads are at. i'm not really trying to do straight graffiti interviews or a typical graff book cause that's not really what i'm about or what i'm into. same with when we were actually releasing 12ozprophet magazine, we've always had one foot in the door, and the other someplace else. since our heritage is in graffiti, i'm sure the underlying themes will probably be graffiti or street oriented, but we're also into a lot of other stuff that has a big influence on where we go with it.
  6. no need to worry about crappy advertisers... there will be no advertising.
  7. With 12ozPROPHET now returning to the world of publishing, I was curious what topics, artists, writers, etc people were interested in. In general we've always tried to march to our own beat, but it doesn't hurt to hear what people are interested in. If all goes well, we plan to release the ALSO KNOWN AS series of books twice a year or so, but there's also been some debate about doing an artist series of books or something similar. Anyhow, I figure it would be a good subject of discussion to see who people are interested, why, and how many others agree.
  8. can't say i'm not disappointed to see it on amazon, but you can't argue that price especially with free shipping.
  9. http://www.fourthehardway.com now ships worldwide. *shameless plug

    Shoes?

that last brown pair look like something diggity would wear.
  11. you have to get fitted and the pair is ordered from japan where it's custom made to fit. you get a call about 2 weeks later and they're kept in a store room until you show up. (they have to be prepaid)
  12. actually, here you go: R by 45rpm NEW YORK 169 MERCER St.,NEW YORK 10012 Tel : 917-237-0045?
  13. THANKS FOR INFO...IM HOPING TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE BIG NYC SOON SO ILL GO CHECK IT ALL OUT. Quoted post [/b] cool. the shop is in soho a door or two down from marc jacobs. i forget the street, but it's about a block or so from the prince st stop on the N & R. here's their website: http://www.45rpm.jp/index.jsp
  14. I believe the $1800 pair have an 8 year organic indigo wash and 18kt custom hardware.
  15. btw, if you make it to 45rpm, check out the charcoal wash denim. a beautiful alternative to indigo.
  16. 45rpm, comme de garcons, and many more... Quoted post CAN U GET 45 RPM'S IN THE UK THEN??? Quoted post [/b] no idea, but they happen to have a shop in soho, nyc in case you have a friend in ny that can help you out. just so you know... 45rpm is particularly expensive. they start at about $400 and most hover in the $800 range. you can also get custom hardware and special long term washes, but that will drive the price up into the $1000 - $1800 range. not for the faint of heart, or shallow pockets.

i've already turned down an offer for $400. i'd rather save them to trade for something i want then to try and make cash off them.

  22. hey ringring, good to see you here. i thoroughly enjoyed reading up on the knowledge you've been dropping on superfuture. welcome aboard.
  23. just got some vintage selvege indigo's from comme de garcons. not as nice as 45rpm, but better than most other japanese selvege i've seen around.
  24. Often times, brands license their name to licensees or distributors in foreign territories instead of shipping product. This is because there's usually a big different in style/taste from one place to another, and the assumption is they could more successfully predict and fulfill product in their own areas. Usually the main brand needs to approve the designs, but often times everyone is on such a tight deadline or disorganized that it never happens. Either way, this is why you see different cars, electronics, and clothing that differ from one country to another.
