Paying your dues and respecting those that came before you will in turn come back and work in the favor of new comers. However, no one likes beeing talked down to, the veterans should show the same ammount of respect to the new generation, if not for what there doing but what they will be doing in the future. Each one, teach one right? But respect is a ONE WAY street, period... Until you earn it you get NONE. When we started out in Ottawa we kept out mouths shut and our heads down, we eventually got some respect back. You only get it by earning it, not for showing up to the game. It's just the way it is, you're just a piece of shit till the veterans decide you're not. After all they were here way before you and have an opinion that counts. Till you are an equal you have no opinion... Accept it, cause it's always been that way...
