Download

Windows XP Pro Startup Disk SP1a Description:

The Windows XP startup disk allows computers without a bootable CD-ROM to perform a new installation of the operating system. The Windows XP startup disk will automatically load the correct drivers to gain access to the CD-ROM drive and start a new installation of Setup. Windows XP Home Edition startup disks will not work for Windows XP Professional installations and vice-versa.

Re: «<< 12Oz Computer Tech Support >>>

ok ok...i now rememeber why im not so fond of windows basesd pc.

heres the huge dilema.

i just bought an amd athlon 64 bit tech somebullshit...

i loaded the win xp 64 bit edition. everything starts up gravy

i load all the updates and naturally reboot

it begins to try and boot<graphics loading is displayed, windows loading is displayed> then the computer automatically shuts off and tries to reboot. this happens over and over until i hit f12 and load windows from the install disk. i repair windows because i cant afford to loose all my info and im too lazy to transfer the data. this because i just loaded it on this drive.

long story short. ive repaired windows about 4 times and at random intervals when i restart the pc. you guessed it it reboots over and over.

at one point i recieved a message about the mhz or frequency i cant recall and it keeps going apeshit...

im on th damn thing now but i dont want to shut it off as i dont know whether it will boot normally or not. i spent last 45 minutes repairing it and i will be damned if i only use the working op system for 10 minutes.

since the first occaision i have not loaded the updates. sometimes the pc will boot then suddenly the continous reboots occurs

someone told me that if u load the updates from windows it detects bootlegs and sends you a worm to make your pc do this. i really really doubt all that but its possible...

MAINTER HELPPPP...

till then the PC is staying on indefinitely

im also having a problem with limewire... i continually get a pop up talking about how theres an error and it cannot connect to the network. some error in port 6346 or some bullshit like that. this while i am clearly downloading plenty of shit. it keeps spitting these pop up until my machine is more than frozen. if i shut limewire down everything becomes gravy. my interweb connection becomes hella funnelled when limewire is connected. doesnt matter what speed limewire is transfering shit at sometimes <most times> mose pages wont even load...

what the fuck is up with that. do i need to configure the ports or some shit?
