Wal-Mart does play their part in keepin' the elderly employed, everytime I've entered Wal-Mart there has been a kind elderly person to welcome me, most companies would see this as an un-needed(?) expense and would be quick to go....so I respect them for that. serum
in sophmore year of highschool i had western civalization class and the teacher asked everyone what their utopian society was. everything that was mentioned was a communist ideal. then he went and gave examples of how communism just cant work. people are lazy, and people are sheep. it pissed me off because i hated capitalism and didnt like the idea of working a 9-5 with the rest of the herd and was looking for anything but that. so i guess i started to hate commercialism. being the same, listening to the same music, people that were faking the funk, following fashion trends, but i also hate people that change their opinions at the last moment just to be an `individual`. people that work so hard to be different end up being the exact same as the people they hate. a bunch of misers in the suburban motel wedding hall screaming out about racism to 30 other white guys. but i too hate tv, popular music, hollywood movies. complete garbage. but the underground is just a launching pad for people to make some real money. i think about moss icon, current, lifetime, ..... especially endpoint. i love endpoint. they are probably one of the best bands to ever exist, i love the fact that only a handful of people out there have ever heard of endpoint, have ever seen them live, let alone have slept over at rob points house. but now after years of not being in the hardcore scene i start thinking that talented musicians like that didnt deserve sleeping on peoples floors to keep it real. they deserved the mainstream. they should have made some money, been on mtv singing about girls breaking their hearts. which would have blown away the other loser bands doing it. however i realise that i was selfish and wanted to be different from the mainstream sheep that i hated. thankfully now i have more confidence and worry less about working hard to be different. i wear whatever i want, i listen to whatever i want, and stay away from the human tendency of grouping everyone and everything. basically i am what i am. strictly on some popeye eating spinach type shit.

l0rdka0s
word up kids, seeking and serum, you both have blown me away with really speakin your minds in this thread as opposed to the other morons who have stood on the sidelines flapping thier keyboards. I respect that and i respect motherfuckers who got thier own opinions, wonksaggin. Simply put though seekin, you made an ignorant comment with the walmart thang mayne, i almost worked for those fucks, in fact i worked at Jlube across the strip mall from a walmart w/ lube center. we used to talk to the other guys who worked at walmart's lube center. They got jacked ass pay, and on top of that got no commission or incentives for upsellin. Which meant the did shit work on the cars that ran through there. anyhow youre right serum alot of those bands dont deserve to sleep on floors like AVAIL, they put in 8 or ten years of work and what do they get? not a whole lot but industry is corruption. Thats my point and im doin something about it from a grassroots point. To many problems so much time so little ambition, well that shits got me ona mission. problem, reaction, education, solution, action. remeber that shit.
