banacheque Posted July 25, 2002 Share Posted July 25, 2002 although they could be technically considered prog rock, yes and rush are good compilation fodder. styx, chicago, and journey are good too before they went soft. la grange by zz top. canned heat is good but they licensed one of their singles out to a laundry detergent commercial. not that that is necessarily a bad thing but it takes the edge off of the song when i associated with laundry.
